Pawel was just an average man, hard working and loyal to his employer who, in return, tried to frame hin for murder. No doubt. Fotis had multiple vehicles at his disposal, yet he decides to use the employee's truck. That wasn't a spontaneous decision. Nor was the murder. The evidence clearly shows that a lot of planning went into all of this, including that Michelle took the keys to the Tacoma, in the days prior to the murder, no doubt to have a copy of the key made. That way Fotis could use the truck, the employee would never know as he still had his own set of keys, and Fotis would return it , park it and when the cops came, say it's not his truck, he doesn't have access to it. Unbelievably, that truck has never been returned to Pawel. The state kept it as evidence, tore it all apart looking for DNA. Bet Pawel wishes now he had stayed self-employed, and had never met Fotis.

Seems to be a disconnect here, as everyone assumes that the way police investigate crime in the US, is the same in other countries, because it's not. Seems to be a disconnect here, as everyone assumes that the way police investigate crime in the US, is the same in other countries, because it's not. I personally believe it was a decision to keep his comments brief as he may have already suspected that Fotis was framing him. And at that point, he didn't know what other evidence Fotis had planted.
