I love Lizzie with all my heart, she doesn't appear on camera often, but when she does, she always shows how kind and positive she is! We all love you Lizzie!
As much as one might be slightly annoyed with their partner spending more time with their best friend. You gotta give to Ollie and Josh tho. We rarely see friendships last this long and this close nowadays. Honestly i would do anything to have a friendship like theirs. Its so honest and wholesome and beautiful.
To have a true best friend is the most wonderful thing. I met mine when we were ten years old, and we've now been friends for 49 years. I just discovered these videos, along with the Jolly and Korean Englishman channels, and to see the friendship, laughter and love of family in them (not to mention the yummy recipes!) is just the perfect antidote to these scary and isolating times.
I have four very good friends one I've been friends with for 45 years and we're now roommates LOL another one I've been friends with for 22 years and we used to be roommates at one time LOL another one I've known 25 years and watch each other's kids grow up watch each other get married and he and I are great friends still and the last one I've been friends with for 17 years unfortunately he lives in another state so I don't get to see him as much as I used to the point is it doesn't matter how many friends you have what matters is the quality of the friend that you have keep your good friends close and tell everybody else just to go away LOL I'm really happy to see Lizzie on camera she's so sweet and humble and I'm happy to see that the wives of the two best friends get along cuz that doesn't always happen
I really find it inspiring and wonderful that two best friends have stayed together for so long and care about each other and they have this wonderful community of friends and family, that kind of community is what i want in life
If Lizzie makes a podcast talking about anything- anything at all, I'd listen to her just talk all day. The way she talks and her voice is SO soothing and relaxing and everything comfy.

As for the 1st wife discussion, this is more for others out there who are misunderstanding or maybe going through the same thing, envy and jealousy doesn't always have to be romantic. Like Gabie said, it's because Josh is super close to Ollie and knows him so well that Gabie sometimes feel like she loses. But thing is, this isn't a competition. Josh and Gabie are both in the same team. Only, it's like Gabie said here, Lizzie and Ollie have known each other since they were in high school, Ollie and Josh since university and she has only come into their little family 6 to 8 years ago which, if you think about it, is already a pretty long time but isn't as long compared to how the others have known each other. It's just that feeling of, no matter how much she knows Josh now, the time she didn't know him before and he spent with others, she's never gong to have. That's a natural thing. She most definitely just wants to be closer to Josh which is adorable as it is endearing. I think it's a good thing, that there's always more to each other for you to know no matter how long the time spent together.

I think the shortbread expanded because you added the Singleton, the extra moisture creates steam, whereas the normal recipe only has tony bit of moisture from the butter.
It's also possible there was yeast in the whiskey as well.
And here i thought they probably used self rising flour instead of regular APF.
they also didn't put the dough in the fridge first to keep the shape when cooking
AJ C whisky is a distilled product so there are no more yeast cells in it.
