Shame they cant spend that money on the Potholes. Me & my wife nearly got killed after a head on crash after hitting a pothole & writing our car off & the other one. Fraudulently spending our Road Tax on other things than the roads. They need jail.
It's called taking money under false pretenses in my book.
Blew a tyre out last year and after repairing the pothole they told me it "wasn't big enough" for compensation. So not only do I pay road tax but I also have to fork out a couple hundred quid for recovery and repairs when the road I pay for damages my car. And then of course they tax the recovery driver, the tyre purchase etc. Disgraceful.

Here's the thing, there NOT laws. They're acts, statutes and legislations. Basically corporate legalities which is not in a living man or woman's jurisdiction. They only apply if you agree and consent!

I'm a small builder. I have no 'Professional ' quantity surveyor working for me. I'm expected to get my quotations spot on.
Any government project employs hundreds of 'Professional ' surveyors, costing millions, even before the project starts, and yet they are allowed to get it wrong by tenfold but still get paid!!!
I ask my client for a few hundred quid, unforeseeable costs and I'm treated like a criminal.
WORK THAT ONE OUT. CHUNTS.
I need to work for the government, it's a total scam fest.
People need to remember the primary purpose of councils is to serve the people within a given area. It is not to control, order, fine, tell or use the people as a cash cow.
Any council that tries to control, order, fine or use the people as a cash cow 🐮 n unfit for purpose. An the people working within it need to be held accountable and sack asap.
Wages within the councils also need to be limited to a max £100k a year including bonuses & pension this includes directors. All of which seem to earn more than the prime minister.
Time to start telling councils to provide the services needed by the people. Anything else is not needed as will be classed as a waste of taxpayers money. An those responsible need to be sacked asap, for gross misconduct in a public office & incompetence for not providing the services needed.

Whenever it comes to building projects now the initial estimate and final cost differ hugely case in point HS2, Channel Tunnel etc etc etc, For some reason the UK has lost the ability to achieve success with large scale projects. There are houses near me with a lifecycle of no more than fifty years because they are wire framed and nearly thirty years beyond their expected life they are still going strong yet flats built in the late 80’s have already been torn down. It is definitely not hilarious.

We all need to get number plate of khans car and drive at 30. Plus this will put insurance down as travelling at 20 mph will be less accidents 😮

HS2 have paid consultants over 350 million quid in the last 10 years ,just to tell them they are doing a shite job, .Wow I could have told them that for 1 million.
To add context to the 20mph zones/limits: By law, they're not strictly enforcible by the Police. Meaning that these 20mph areas are most likely - Wales has the best examples -naturally enforced by the physical road lay out themselves. I.e too steep, too narrow, blind bends etc. Obviously, don't take my word for it.
The serious injury and fatality rates at low speed has dramatically dropped. Essentially making a 30>20 reduction, less effective than say, a drop from 60>50. Why? Modern cars are incredibly well equipped for low speed collision prevention.
It's just a money 💰 making sceam
