sir your lectures are really very good source of information. i have a request to you sir ...please deliver lecture on HARMONICS IN AC MACHINES(TRANSFORMER ,INDUCTION MOTOR AND SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE ). FOR SUCCESS IN COMPETITION numerical is essential only theory is not sufficient so please do some numerical. for this your kind attention i will be obliged for you
sir armature reaction also help in providing the torque in machine so if we use open type slot in synchrons machine this reduce the armature reaction so it also reduce torue also so sir this will effect the rotation if machine na
Respected sir. Plz tell me which statement is right. 1. As air gap increases in ac machine, reluctance of path increases hence decreases leakage flux and leakage reactance also decreases. 2. As air gap increases in ac machine, leakage flux increases, hence increases leakage reactance.
Lectures in Electrical Engineering Sir, But as u said in open type stator slots advantage that leakage flux is less. It should be more as more air gap is present.
Sir ! Can you please explain one thing that why the nunber of rotors slots should not be equal to 1.25 times the number pf stator slots in Induction Motors ?
Thanks Sir. Please make video on LSPMSM motor where cogging & crawling problem more in due to rotor interior magnet negative braking. Also selection of magnet size
lecture is good ... but i find 2-3 mistake in your lecture ... may be i am incorrect ... so please comment if you want to know ... and i also want to tell you ... please contact so that i will solve my all doubt
Sir, if we have two stator windings one is 2 pole second is 4 pole on the same stator , what happens if both are energised together. Sir,please clear my doubt
Sir please clear this doubt You tell leakage reactance decrease if air gap is more But in other places they tell due to air gap increase leakage reactance also increase How please explain sir
Generally, as air gap increases leakage flux also increases , but in case of open slots (air gap is high and leakage flux is low) but in case of squirrel cage rotor (air gap is low and leakage flux is also low i.e opposite of open slot occures here). Why?? Kindly explain this Sir.
@@lecturesinelectricaleng Thank you for your quick reply Sir. As per your reply: "In open slots, the flux cannot close through rotor as the reluctance of closing through the stator core is more". Question: Since flux follows less reluctance path so how flux cannot close through rotor as the reluctance of closing through the stator core is more?? (Did you mean flux cannot close through STATOR as the reluctance of closing through the stator core is more?). Please help me with this small doubt.
Thanks a lot sir, Very helpful video
I can say this video has cleared my all doubts

Appreciable! Keep posting videos sir.
Thanks sir 🙏🙏 your explanation is awesome 😎

@@lecturesinelectricaleng sir how air gap length affects overload capacity. Overload capacity increases with air gap length or vice versa.

Semi closed slots nhi hote hai kya
thank u so much, great lecture👍
Thanks Sir.

Fantastic sir
sir
in advantages of open slots , you said that leakage flux is low . is it correct or not ?
please clarify
@@lecturesinelectricaleng but in explaining about open type slot in third point you mentioned, more leakage flux.
Sir in n flux inversely proportional na sir
