I hope whatever Illness Dave has is treatable. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

I can contribute to this. I've not ridden a 'modern' bike since 1991 so have no idea what modern bikes are like but I have half a dozen british bikes from 1952 to 1975, my T140 I've owned 32 years and after years of neglect now has hot cams, balanced crankshaft and thousands of me hours invested in it, it's as good as they get but I recently got my hands on an Egli with a Shadow spec motor. We've done about 300 miles together (shine and rain!!) thus far and I can say unequivocally it's decades ahead of other British road bikes. Absolutely stonking!! Sell everything you own and buy one. You won't regret it. The ex might but you definitely won't!

So glad the Egli Vincent rides as good as it looks, sounds incredible. Keep those wheels turning Dave, your keeping our passion alive. N+1 is a cruel master but a delightful mistress

Thanks for watching, yes the sound is amazing. There’s always room for one more bike. I’m catching up with Dave in the new year, so keen to see if he has any new additions to the garage.

I grew up in Penrith , so I recognise the roads and back in the 80s , on several occasions I saw an Egli Vincent with South Australian plates looking like it was still being ridden .
I can still see it in my mind's eye parked on High Street just near the Australian Arms hotel . If I could only have one bike that would be it .

Experiencing a Vincent is very high on my bucket list. I'm so glad that Dave ticked that one off of his.
It's such a shame that the attempted Vincent resurrection didn't succeed. We could have had 25 year old Vincents in the market along with their 75 year old brethren.

It certainly is a shame that Vincent hasn’t been resurrected. I’d also love to ride a Vincent one day. Thanks for watching

One of ours also Jamie, Dave is such a great story teller. We thought it worth giving some of our older stories another release.

Being a Yank, for the first bit of the piece I thought he was saying “Ugly Vincent”😂
My youngest son’s middle name is actually Vincent, half for VanGogh and half for this beautiful motorcycle.

Lol, I don’t think you could ever describe a Vincent as ugly, but that Aussie accent tricks a few people. Thanks for watching and agree they are a beautiful motorcycle.
