*Materials Used*:
All of my materials for the box are from my local Dollarama.
My standard cutting mat is from Cricut, off Amazon.
*Tips*:
*Cutting Mats*:
I do not recommend Cricut brand Strong Grip mats for these box projects - I personally think they are very strong.
The strong grip mat i do have is from Realike, off Amazon and the adhesive on the mat is less sticky than the Cricut brand .
Do not re-size your box in circuit design space if the dimensions are not correct. This will warp the size of your box. If you need to change the size, simply re-download a new file with the correct size.
*I don’t not Recommend Hot glue or Very thin glues for THIS style box*:
- Hot glue dried too fast and you are unable to slide and adjust as your are putting your pieces together.
- Thin glues warp the box and don’t dry fast enough.
I love extra strength glue sticks!

Great Video, thankyou. What id really love to see is a video detailing different cardstock and materials for boxes, that would be so helpful
For my skincare product I started using 110 lb white glossy cardstock and it's so much more professional looking and sturdier than the 65lb cardstock I usually have on hand for printing inner marketing materials like a postcard insert. I bought my 110 lb cardstock paper on Amazon.

What's the maximum thickness of cardstock that a Cricut machine is able to cut? I'm hoping it can be able to cut at least 500 microns (half a mm).

Hello. When I added this template to Design Space it was extremely large. How do I change the dimensions to the correct sizes? I don't see that information on the website.

Hello there!
This issue happened to me when I first started as well! I fixed it by using the biggest cutting mat I had - which is the 12 inch by 24inch Mat. Also I ensured the box template I downloaded was under 11 inches wide and shorter than 23 inches so it could fix on the mat :)

@@charlottehargrove I had this same issue and I saved it as Cricut file instead of SVG. Hope that helps.

@@charlottehargrove if you jump to the 2:57 mark, you’ll see she’s clicking between SVG and Cricut. Choose Cricut then click create. Let me know if it works.
Hi. Thank you for your vdo. I see you use a sticker on the top of the box. Could you please PRINT, SCORE then CUT as I had tried without a success by downloading box template from your suggest site.
So the template can be use as all as you have commercial license right

What paper you are using for packaging?
what would happen if instead of welding the bottom of it you attached it and changed the center square to score? that way it would score where your wanting to fold it. does that make sense?

I’m currently trying to do this!! But when I select score it makes the whole selected item scored!?😵💫🤣

HELP! I followed every step you did several times BUT when it came to opening it in Design Space I get "YOU HAVE SELECTED UNSUPPORTED FILE TYPE. SELECT A DIFFERENT FILE TYPE"
