Technically this is not a carrilon as a carrilon requires about 4 octaves of bells and includes semitones.
There are 8 change ringing bells cast by Taylor's of Lougborough dating from 1925.
With a simple Octave you are very limited to musical tunes as there are no semitones.
There are 16 hammers so two on each bell, this allows you to strike the same bell in quick succession.
Regardless this is amazing as is the old clock.
The large windmill that fly around serves a very important purpose as my altering the angle of the blades you can speed up or slow down the strike of the clock as the blades encounter resistance from the air.
They are amazing change ringing bells too.

Maybe it's just me, but, they never showed the bells as they were being automated! Can you think of any reason for that I would have loved to see the actual bells!?

Please spell carillon correctly. There's only one 'i'.
