I own one, and it sounds great plugged in, and actually good unplugged. Most of the videos that I have seen don't do the guitar justice. Also, the "notch" filter is actually a bandpass filter. If you set it to what one would assume to be the "off" or 0 setting, it is actually engaged and is in fact a high pass filter. This results in the thin sound that I have heard in every video. If you turn the knob fully clockwise, it is a low pass filter and results in a nice full sound yet still has plenty of highs. This is actually the default setting for full range. It is counter-intutive, but makes all the difference in the sound.

Do you mean turning it to the 5K position?

Yes. It functions like a low pass filter, giving you nice lows and mids.

Good review - but what are the dimensions please? What is the width of the Lower Bout? What is the depth of the Body? What is the width of the neck at the nut, in mm?

@@cv7900 I have the Yamaha APX 600 and it does not feel very thin at all. it's 3.75 inches or so. I like it, but it's still bulky to play.
