Lmao that fledgling at 34:10 coming to beg for food and that crow staring at him unimpressed, and then he shows the crow "see here are some crumbs just put them in my mouth, yea? no?" Then walks away still screaming for food like "is there nobody gonna put food in my mouth??". Audibly discouraged, just a caw here and there, meets another crow who playfully nips at him and then goes on to pull his tail so the fledgling finally shuts up xD
This is my favorite so far. Corvidae are the most interesting of birds. Absolutely enjoyed this with my kitties. (swans were an added bonus). Thank you!
“Consider the ravens: They neither sow seed nor reap; they have neither barn nor storehouse; yet God feeds them. Are you not worth much more than birds?”
Well, my cat was uninterested I'm afraid - but I was spellbound! I love all corvids, always have. Rooks are my favourites. There is a particular crow that I have been following for 20 years. It's definitely the same one. He's such a character! Fascinating birds, all of them. Thank you so much for this.
My cat will annoy me to no end until I put this video on for her. Not any cat's video, THIS ONE. She will pound the screen with her paws until I put it on. She loves it.
10:57 Look at this lad, his underbeak pouch is completely full, his beak is so full he CANNOT CLOSE IT, yet still he pecks, looking for just one more bite. What a champ.
My cat is picky on what she watches (yes I spoil her) but she loved this, she was glued to the entire video and her eyes were darting about following the birds, with the odd duck and squirrel thrown in for good measure hehe. She is currently an indoor cat but only temporarily due to reasons too much to explain, previously an outdoor cat, so this video gave her the sights and sounds she loves to keep her going until it's safe to allow her to explore the outside world once again. Thanks for the video.
As is common with humankind, we think, mistake, we are the smartest of all, WRONG. A lot of nature are smarter than in intelligence and abilities beyond anything we can imagine. Till then , to those who believe ad I do, Do Not ever back down from your truth. There will come a day when we will just sit back and smile. PEACE.
Just discovered this one today and this seems to be my cat Lottie's favourite of these birdy videos so far (she likes the others too though!). She was absolutely mesmerized but I think she may have been slightly scared / startled too because every now and then she was looking behind her, while seated in front of my laptop, and her ears were darting back & forth (but then I did have the sound a bit loud for her to get the full effect, so then I turned it down a bit in case all the squawking was scaring her!). So, I just reassured her that none of the birds were actually going to get her! She sat watching intently at every move the birds made (and the swans in the background, which piqued her interest too, and the ducks who waddled around on and off too!) for at least 10 - 15 minutes and I was captivated too. I've never seen these types of birds so close up and there were so many of them, it was fascinating! I had to laugh at about 34.38 when the really noisy bird (who I think may have been a big chick) who was in the background started to come forward to where the main action was, squawking very loudly all the time, and then suddenly, to the left, one of the birds came up behind him / her and shoved it out of the way! SO funny. We have a few crows in our neighbourhood and they can be very noisy too, squawking away at times, but I love them (I'm a huge animal lover!) and always find them interesting to observe.
There was a tree in the neighbourhood where the crows would gather everyday to chatter and listening to them would give me such pleasure, then the tree died and the crows disappeared I miss them❤️
I've got a rescue cat and he was so scared of his shadow. This video has made him more confident and he watches it every day now. I even leave it on while I'm out as he loves it.
Our jackdaw loves this video, especially his fellow jackdaws arguing at 37:40 - he chaks at them, puffs up as big as possible (like those in the video) and vibrates his tail. Whenever I'm in the other part of the connected set of rooms using the laptop he flies in hoping I will put some "Crow porn" on for him.
Thank you so much for many hours of relaxation, enjoyment and laughter in our House. Our cats absolutely Love all the videos. Actually, we had to stop watching those dedicated to squirrels. We almost lost the TV one day, when one of our big cats was trying to catch a squirrel. A testament to how much Cats love your videos. 😃👍🐱
Hi Paul Dinning, this is Maxie from the #maxamillion and #bennyben club. I watched this whole entire video from start to finish and I just wanted to say I enjoyed it just as much as I love looking out the window
Hey you forgot to mention Mallards, waddling across the scene! But really - the Corvid family is the highlight and is so interesting, I am from the US - had to look up which were Rooks, which Jackdaws. I think I got more out of this than Cyrus the cat :-)
Strange looking birds those Rooks, never seen one up this close before, very dinosaur looking, which technically they actually are i suppose? Don't seem to mind the camera.. But the Crows do!
I know these woods. I went there in November. I love it there. Some say the woods are haunted. I've always found it very peaceful and pretty there. An excellent place for squirrel and crow videos. The crows follow you for ages if you have food. I didn't see very many small birds this time which was a little disappointing because I'd taken live mealworms. Quite a few swans were there and ofcourse the adorable ducks.
I think crows hold some cosmic secrets we dont know about. I always see them in meetings facing each other in the middle of a yard or field. What are they talking about???
Wow, are those rooks at the beginning of the video? Those beaks are amazing! The biggest black bird I have seen around here is a crow and he/she had a big, black beak. I do know that jackdaws have the grey caps and eyes and there are a few of those in these parts..that's 'cos I feed them lol.
The first birds that show up are rooks, yup. They are the ones with the yellowed beaks. Jackdaws have a pointy, slick, black colored beak and those greyish patches on the side of their heads. Yup yup. And I don't see a crow until a little later in the video but I may have just missed one in all the black. At 38:10 or so all three types of birds are on the screen at once for sure though. The jackdaw in the left corner, then the rook, then a crow in the back, toward the center of the image. So pretty!
please make the image on 18:21 a greetings card and let me know when I can buy it. also please post it on crazy for corvids on Facebook, they will love it! ❤️❤️
I've recently become OBSESSED with corvids. I drew a crow in my sketchbook and named him Donovan, meaning "dark warrior." I learned the differences between crows and ravens. I painted a raven yesterday but haven't thought of a name yet. I think I'm going through a phase. P.S. Any suggestions for a name for my raven painting? I like to name my characters.
I don't even have a cat, I just love birds
Specially ones from the corvid family
Same!😅

Thanking you for posting this. My cats enjoy it.
Nice Video. Crows Are Very Intelligent Birds With A Very Strong Beak.
My sixteen months baby loves your crow video
Nice footage to practice drawing moving stuff
I think crows and the like are very underrated!
My personal favourites are Jackdaws and Rooks. Rooks kind of look like plague doctors.
Yes I saw plague doctors too. Fascinating crows!
omg :o never thought about this
My Kitty Boy just LOVES watching these amazing, underappreciated, highly intelligent, beautiful birds!
So far this is CoCo's favorite bird video. Thanks.
Such a lovely video of all the wildlife nice to see lots of birds and squirrels.
My cat will annoy me to no end until I put this video on for her. Not any cat's video, THIS ONE. She will pound the screen with her paws until I put it on. She loves it.
I put this on for my pet crow inside my brain to watch and caw at
I want to tell you: I like crows,
and OK, actually: I love them!
ME TOO !!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM TOO. ALWAYS HAVE.👍👍❤❤
And me! ❤

I love rooks. They are so beautiful😍
I love corvids due to their intelligence
I love corvids. All of em. But gotta say, Rooks are the most ominous looking imo..
10:57 Look at this lad, his underbeak pouch is completely full, his beak is so full he CANNOT CLOSE IT, yet still he pecks, looking for just one more bite. What a champ.
My little boy is named Rook. Lovely birds
My cat *has* to watch 10 minutes of this every morning, more if I could let her. Wonderful!

The Crows were very wary of the camera.

@@rembramlastname3631 It was a joke, dude. Chill. I don't think I am actually a cat.

Baby Crow asking a Rook to feed him at 34:10 🙂 and then chasing a Jackdaw for food.
OMG I put this on and my cat was watching the video! It was hilarious.
My cat totally ignored the video! But since I love corvidae I'll keep watching 😁
Very beutiful birds dear Paul.
Have a nice weekend.
For cats only? I better not watch it then! Haha JK. I love crows. Thank you!

I just watched and listened to this entire video... I have no cat.
Me either.
Here a peck, there a peck, everywhere a peck-peck
I loved this. Please could we have one of ravens too? Might be more difficult to get them as they are not as close to people.
