    To set up Pointagram on Slack follow these steps to ensure you're a Slack admin. Sign up to pointagram, upon signing up you'll be prompted to create a point series. Simply name it points and click OK. Navigate to settings by clicking on the gearwheel icon, select integrations, and then choose to install the Pointagram Slack app. In this demonstration we'll be enabling emails, however, keep in mind that Pointagram can function without user emails if preferred. After enabling click OK. Subsequently, Pointagram will ask permission to post in a specific Slack Channel, kindly select the channel of your choice
    You'll then see the integration steps, simply press OK. Navigate to the user event and select import players. Remember, players will be auto-added if they change their name or are newly added to the Slack account. In the competition periodic updates section you can set the frequency of competition updates to your chosen channel. Moreover, within the news feed settings you have multiple options regarding the type of content that gets posted.
    The integration created a score series called Slack Points. It collects data from all threads, replies, and reactions within Slack. Please note, that the Slack Points series will be muted to maintain and a focused workspace. To start collecting data from a channel, you need to invite the Pointagram bot to that specific Slack channel.
    Additionally, to ease access be sure to add Pointagram as a shortcut using the add apps button. The profile view is currently blank let's remedy that by adding our first badge. Navigate to badges within Pointagram and begin crafting your first reach an amount badge.
    Start by naming your badge and if desired update its picture.
    Next, choose the appropriate time period. Go to input and pick points. Set a target value which serves as the benchmark to earn the badge. Within the player's tab, specify who is eligible for this badge. Finally, in the reward tab, you can opt to reward winners using another score series like gems.
    Let's feel some friendly rivalry by setting up a leaderboard. Navigate to compete represented by the trophy icon and click on the plus sign in the top right. From the options choose leaderboard, begin by naming your competition and picking a theme set both a start and an end date for the duration of the competition. Move to input and choose the score series you prefer then designate the competing players and decide on rewards for the top achievers.     Shifting our focus back to Slack you'll now notice the competitions and badges we've set up. The score series are also displayed here it's important to highlight that users will only see Badges and competitions they're invited to.
