- It has been a long time since I made an animation about Tails Doll. I wanted to make a sequel for quite a long time, but quickly took the whole thing down.
But thanks to all of you, I have a reason to do it now. A sequel that has been waiting for by many.
And it's dedicated to my favorite character - Tails.

Why someone's writing that they're disappointed in Tails or just can't understand him? After all, it's just Sonic's nightmare. And he's kinda thinking that it's his fault. Just, if I've replaced Tails with Sonic - it would make it clear that Sonic just blames himself. Not Tails hating him, but Sonic himself.
Anyway, wait till the next animation is released.

It's a really interesting concept. With a more neutral tone it could be the premise of a game. Sorta like a setting where Tails' whereabouts are unknown and the doll shows up with abilities like the ones seen here. Sonic blaming himself is a good touch too - but of course going as deep in a game would cause a bit of confusion as to which audience it's really for.

I think he just made it that way cause some sonic fans don’t know that much about him like classic fans do most sonic fans know green hill other then that this place does look a lot like emerald hill in some points it’s a mix of emerald and green

Thinking about it; it isn't truly his fault for having Tails die. Despite being a hero, he still isn't perfect and tried his best. He still fulfilled his promise, but alas, it does make sense that he still blames himself.
I don't entirely get why Tails is so angry about it. Wouldn't he be the one who knew how HARD Sonic fought despite him losing? It's like me fighting a god-like being and losing, only to have my family killed as a result. Would it be fair for that to be justified?
Honestly, I don't know. Maybe it's over analyzing the plot, but just a small nitpick. Otherwise, still a great show! Sonic better be fast too, just in case any of his friends are next.

The worst part about heroes, is finding out they can't save everyone.
Maybe because it isn't Tails, (because Tails had already been killed.) but a physical embodiment of Sonic's self-doubt that hurts Sonic mentally. This is really just my theory, however, not really sure either. (I also think that Sonic was inside his own mind, considering Tails had already died and that he's Sonic's best pal and would stick with Sonic no matter what happens.)

5:16 is the saddest part.
Even if it was a dream, tails would never say something like that. Like it said at the beginning, tails has a good and kind heart.

Your animations are amazing and so expressive. The colors are bright and eye catching, your stories are more interesting than what Sega has been doing lately.
If Tails doesn't want to be friends with Sonic anymore then, someone should've erase Tails' memories so he will not remember anything about his past life with Sonic at all.

Dude, the storytelling was just amazing. It perfectly describes what happens in a real broken friendship. The care and the Guilt fighting in your head. Aah. I swear I can relate to this. Cause I went through it. But i just know this was emotionally perfect. Good job!

@@grimes558 Tails died. Sonic was just seeing things, hallucinating at that point. He felt so guilty that his mind made him think that Tails hated him for not being able to saving him.

Tails reminded me of Anakin from Star Wars. That "I Hate You" part in my imagination sounded like he just fell into the dark side and killed the one who took Tails in to be his friend or even brothers. Time Fox, you've done it again with this cool animation! ;)

So he was caught in a depression pretty much, stuck on the same loop of grief in which a person will find itself when they feel like they are to blame, that's a good representation, as well as his subconscious using Tails to show his disappointment towards himself.

I am thinking that sonic now, wanting his nightmare to end, needs to stop his own invasive thoughts from getting worse, or else, he might be doomed to be stuck within a nightmare. Tails has no one to blame for his death because he is dead in the story. If his desire to stay dead continues to either get longer or shorter, then, he finally had became everything surrounding him. Only then to transcend above reality and now has access to another reality.By then tails would finally be able to have peace, and nothing harm him anymore, only then to realize that it might be scarier than having a hell. But then, suddenly become rather, The reality that we are all living in. Tails would then cellibrate his birth, life, and death forever, With only those surrounding him, in the void, then to make himself become the void he once was terrified of.

That feeling when I'm not particularly interested in the Sonic universe, but this animation made me shiver. ...and something seems to me, or would Tails not say something like that, and Sonic could understand that these are just his fears and a bad dream? Actually it makes sense why Sonic hates himself for failing to save Tails, in Sonic Lost World, (Here’s your spoiler alert) Sonic, Tails, & Eggman find a capsule, Sonic acting on impulses jumps at it, but Tails realizes its a trap and jumps in the way, and gets hit by Sonic, and enters the capsule, and before Sonic could reach it to save him, it teleports, and he hates himself, (and is extremely hostile to the Deadly Six) until meeting up with Tails near the end of the game. I really found these two different events really similar, and I wish there’s a sequel for this that has Sonic getting over it, because I can’t stand seeing someone beating themselves up for something they most likely couldn’t prevent. Otherwise, nice animation!

Tails can’t call himself a “boy with a good heart” either, because he killed sonic as far as Japanese, although they are even now they now have 03 additional lives for sonic and tails 😆!
Poor Sonic. It wasn't his fault Tails was brutally massacred by that evil doll. Tails wouldn't be the one to blame Sonic for his death at the hands of the Tails doll.
The 'Tails' we and Sonic see is supposed to be a manifestation of Sonic's anger, guilt and sorrow and hatred for his own failure to save the boy he called his best friend.
