+Jacob Baker so taking photos of stars requires you to make a long exposure, on this camara the maximum exposure time is below 30 seconds I think. The small sensor is not really made for noise reduced photos. Wait for this month, there will be some new releases.

Because on my videos sometimes I can hear my hand accidentally rubbing against the microphone which is quite annoying lol. So I I'd like to know where is the mic so I'll be careful not to put my hand in front of it!

Aiman. Mohd Nor those are 2 really different cameras. IMO, if you just wanna press record and let the camera record by itself, gopro is the choice. But if you want more control and great photo stills, sony is the way to go. I myself started out with action cams for teavel. but then I find that the circular footage makes it quite tiring to watch after some time. Nowadays, I bring both a Hero4 silver together with sony A6000 when I travel. but I only use the A6000 most of the time due to the controls and image quality. Plus, you cant zoom with a gopro. Now I'm thinking of getting a compact camera like this to use at more "dangerous" places (i.e. places where there is a higher chance of you getting mug if they think you're using an expensive camera) . lol

I'm going to be using it at concerts ive got a sony h3 which i love but its 10 years old and big. I have used the panasonic tz40 at concerts but pics arent very good footage is amazing though. Is the sony range as good at video footage? Will it perform with pics better or as good as h3. Sorry for so many questions. In 2016 I both Sony DSC-HX90V after my previous Sony DSC-HX20V lens motor has failed ( aprox 14 months after purchase ) In less than 4 months after purchase of the new camera the OCD Ocular has failed and camera started to switch off and on during normal operations . I sent the camera through the retailer back to Sony . I waited 4 weeks for the warranty repair ,though upon receipt it was discovered that Sony did NOT perform any repair at all and filed blindly a repair protocol stating everything was OK . The large retailer sent back on Feb 20,2016 again the cam to Sony with a huge complaint about cheating , asking for express repair . Nothing was done and the camera is still there . In parallel I wrote an email complaint to Sony as into them filling blindly repair protocols whereby they did not even read my complaint telling me to go back to the seller . The HELL with you SONY CHINA ltd stay away from them they cheat the public under their " great " corporate logo. If you are lucky and DSC-HX90V works then is has great features. But I doubt because also this product is obsolete and no longer manufactured !

It is the world's smallest camera with 30x optical zoom. That is a huge plus mark for this camera and it is one of the reasons i bought it.

Who uses ISO 3200, I wouldn't even use it on the best interchangeable lens cameras not even on film. this is a great little camera when used properly.
