+DesapoleEdits -Correct. It's just certain 'groupies' or HIPSTERS.. wanted certain 'sounds' instead of realizing that outside of their iphone or spotify account that there are these AMAZING things called albums..and these albums are to be played from side A...to side B. Regardless of format. There I said it. HIPSTERS..(like Guido's of the early 90's, like Jock's of the 80's...) What they ALL have in common is.. not many of them learned how to play an instrument..learned multiple instruments, were good at layering concepts, visuals and sounds..created a scene ..They DID all figure out how to utilize it into their summer activities and go see a performance artist..that ended up changing their life. These are the same people bitching. I look forward to not having an actual show ruined by these additional people that will financially support the band..knowing this, I'll stay home and listen to it on a reallllly good system..and ...that puppy..I wonder if he met a Frog.. :)

Yeah, I've loved every song on this album from the day it came out, it was so crazy to see all the hate it was getting, like I was hearing something they weren't. Oh well.
I think it’s more of a nostalgia album. it feels like an album written for our younger selves. If I was a child but with the development of an adult. I think people like this album because it’s written as if a child has the development of an adult because allows us to remember what we were like as a child only now this time with the development of an adult able to dispel some of our unmet desires with reality. it relieves the cognitive dissonance we had as a child which is soothing.

I listened to this with my Mom driving through the Appalachian Mountain range and it didn't feel saddening when it was being shared with another person in our own joint-solitude. The biggest strength of M83 is his ability to literally create pièces of art through music, and he deserves so much respect for that. These new songs sound different from the previous album, but that is also why M83 is my favourite artist on Earth: he's not afraid to explore new kind of music, to offer a form of diversity that is very rare in the world of music nowadays. Just imagine You put on your headphones, somehow somewhere in your life lead you here. Listening to this song, so you close your eyes. Raising the volume just a bit for the emersion. And as you close your eyes, you lay down. Taking a deep breath. And open your eyes again, but you see youre now laying in space. Your eyes widen a bit, but your body still feels calm somehow, and you stay laying. You turn your head, and see someone else laying down next to you. Both of you are in space, and you somehow know, your gut, a feeling, telling you. That they're "listening to this song and feeling the same as you do". They turn their face towards you, keeping their body still and relaxed. You make eye contact, and for a moment you both feel the intense feeling this song gives you. Space, time, life, everything. All at once, in one moment. When you look at each other. You blink a few times and you're back to your calm state, and you both turn to look up at the breathtaking view space offers you. The bright colors of the galaxy, and you take another deep breath. Closing your eyes, indulging in the feeling you shared with the other person next to you. As you open your eyes again, you're back where you're originally were. The other person, gone. You sit up, taking a few shakey breaths, as reality settles in again. As you process everything and you mutter to yourself "...What the fuck just happened?"

I get this feeling as I was born back to the 70s when life was more fun more free, that spiritual enigma of being great like the universe is planning something amazing relating my dreams for reality ;)
Me encanta esta canción, que buena producción, es mágica, nostálgica, me transporta a lugares a los cuáles nunca he ido, pero de alguna manera se me hacen familiares. Thank you Anthony ♥
I remember when this album dropped out. It completely crushed my expectations. I got like, what? What am I even listening? Five years later, it is still one of my favorite albums.
This song sounds like it could be a James Bond Theme from the future. So soothing and cinematic.. "Junk" so far sounds like it's going to be outstanding.
If you were expecting "Hurry up, We're Dreaming" than I feel its possible you are also missing the point. I think every album should say something new and give you different images and scenes. With HUWD, the images were grounded in some nostalgic dream. An amazing and awe inspired dream, filled with moments of fear and happiness. I think this album may surprise you with its direction. I think (based off the two songs shown from the album) the scenes being captured are more in line with some space journey. Like some guy who is alone on a spaceship, traveling further and further from home. Each song representing a different radio wave being picked up from random sources. The junk radio waves everyone and everything has forgotten about. Imagine that for a minute. I mean, the album art sort of implies that we will be listening to the junk of the universe. But, when you are alone in space, that junk becomes your treasure. I think its funny how much Im analyzing this. I imagine Anthony saying "dude, its just music, just enjoy" God knows i say the same thing on some of the comments on my music. But i get it now. Not for me. For me, its more like the next episode on a show, or the next chapter in a book. Its super compelling to me, and I'll admire the next adventure as much as the previous one. But once again, I don't expect the same adventure. In other words, don't expect HUWD. Because the one thing i can promise is, it wont be. Good day.
Yosef Mase I see your words and I’m completely aware of what you are saying. I think it is very deep and touching the way you describe the emotion and meaning that the song wants to inspire in us. Thanks you for such amazing description, a big hug full of good energy for you 🙏🏽
There are some tough critics on RUclips clearly lol, but I appreciate your insight. I enjoy seeing this album as priding itself in embarking on a different direction from everything else. Almost no two songs feel the same. Lots of sounds and unique production at play. It's a real demonstration of unfettered creativity and I can see how that may be likened to traveling in space
When i heard this song for the first time today, I realized how well this tune fits a James Bond theme and now I want M83 to make the next theme for the next James Bond movie.
I fell asleep listening to music on shuffle. This song came up, and it was able to pierce into my dreams. Hearing this in my dreams, was so surreal. It was bleak and post apocalyptic in a ways. Waking up from that, had me messed up for a while..

I discovered this song about six years ago, and it hurts me that it's known thanks to a remix found on tic toc
@@christiancentineo6113 the remix is good though
@@turnip5359 yes. They're both good. Maybe they meant that if people only know of the remix and don't know of M83 then it's sad. However the flip side is that a lot of people probably got into M83 because of it.
Ahh!!! M83 never disappoints!! Aka Anthony never disappoints... I can't wait to see them again April 19th!!
My god I can already tell how much I'll love this album! I've been listening to Do It Try It on repeat and i know I'll listen to this one on repeat too.
same they are amazing
The fact that electronic music was replaced with real orchestra music and it still has the same if not better impact.
This gave me chills. Reminded me of the days of Pink Floyd.
holy shit these chord progressions are just YES
It's not to the level of Bowie or beatles or pink Floyd for chord progressions yet pal
This is beautiful and moving
Somewhere in the cosmos, there's me, listening to this song and feeling the same as you do
Just imagine
You put on your headphones, somehow somewhere in your life lead you here.
@@lozxea 💖
strong sense8 and Everything, Everywhere, All at Once vibes you gave me here
@@lozxeaSpace is calming. We were made by Space. Earth isn't purr home, but our nursery. Once we get older, the Cosmos will grab our hand, teach us how to walk, and lead forward humanity to home.
This song could easily be in a James Bond movie.
No. No it couldn't.
@@jonathank.8725 Kinda feel like it wouldn't fit into the older ones like FRWL or TSWLM but could actually be relevant from Spectre onwards. I can imagine 007 driving in DBS Superleggera to this song.
@@jonathank.8725 easily an intro credits song wym?
Not at all.... U r crazy 😅😅 this song is full of fantasy and out of this world vibes like something magical
M83 is dopamine overload
I get this feeling as I was born back to the 70s when life was more fun more free, that spiritual enigma of being great like the universe is planning something amazing relating my dreams for reality ;)
Cello doing wonders 😍
Me encanta esta canción, que buena producción, es mágica, nostálgica, me transporta a lugares a los cuáles nunca he ido, pero de alguna manera se me hacen familiares. Thank you Anthony ♥
So glad this album got the recognition it rightfully deserves
I remember when this album dropped out. It completely crushed my expectations. I got like, what? What am I even listening?
Five years later, it is still one of my favorite albums.
solitude is the best song i've heard in my entire life
Thanks for this master piece ❤
Everything M83 creates sounds like gold.
I love this deep touch of the band.
Just no words. Thank you for such a beautiful music, it really helps me in difficult moments.
Absolute masterpiece, listen to this before bed sometimes, hits different in the dark
Omg.
Everybody who knows good music, would love this.
Their music is so beautiful. this album is gonna be amazing!
Absolutely fine. 6 years late coming to this party. Thanks lads.....
This song sounds like it could be a James Bond Theme from the future. So soothing and cinematic..
"Junk" so far sounds like it's going to be outstanding.
This is Jason Bourne, Bond and Pink Floyd all wound up into a ball of perfection. Favourite song atm 100%!!!!!!!!!!
eu tava no ódio aqui, comecei ouvir essa obra de arte e mano eu me acalmei num nível. música incrível!
That solo gives me chills every time.
I literally just found M83 😮
Why did nobody tell me they sound so beautiful?!
Masterpiece
This would make a fucking sick James Bond Theme
lmao yeee
+Jack Yeomans this was my first thought
+Jack Yeomans INDEED!
+Jack Yeomans OMG YES
+Jack Yeomans lol you have 83 likes so I dont wanna ruin that
The keytar solo is sick
trippy: tilt your head slowly from left to right and make the background seem like it's staying still
woahhh
+patrick sohacki I vomitted but t'was worth it.
+patrick sohacki Holly shit that's awesome^^
+patrick sohacki I tried, without hope. But it actually worked. WTF
+patrick sohacki I don't know what kind of drug made you realize that but that's brilliant!
Idk why people hate this album.. I mean 80's music is good.. I like this classic vibe
nobody hates this i know of what you talking about
If you were expecting "Hurry up, We're Dreaming" than I feel its possible you are also missing the point.
I imagine Anthony saying "dude, its just music, just enjoy"
God knows i say the same thing on some of the comments on my music.
Thanks you for such amazing description, a big hug full of good energy for you 🙏🏽
Got nothin better to do than writing exhausting and useless comments on youtube hun?
Yosef Mase why do you think that you are qualified to write reviews?
it actually took me 3 years to get this. somehow, i'm still glad i didn't see ur comment, brother.
It's a crime against humanity That this only has 4.3m views
When i heard this song for the first time today, I realized how well this tune fits a James Bond theme and now I want M83 to make the next theme for the next James Bond movie.
I didn't know I wanted this until now.
Why James Bond? It doesn't fit at all.
I fell asleep listening to music on shuffle. This song came up, and it was able to pierce into my dreams. Hearing this in my dreams, was so surreal. It was bleak and post apocalyptic in a ways. Waking up from that, had me messed up for a while..
This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard
It's a pitty it's so underrated...
@@DoartYT a real fucking disgrace tbh
Weedin while listening to this song hits different I swear
thx m83☘️
I'm here because of 'Escaping Twin Flames'. I really like the ethereal sound of this!
The version used there is the Flesmann and Tiley imagination, even more “deep space”
