Thank you HOGS for these videos. After my private pilot cert (with the help of your online ground school)I bought an H269C … these videos were hugely helpful! Among other points my number one takeaway is that you have to get your hands dirty … otherwise you aren’t doing it right.

Thanks for the memories. Flew the th-55 or 269c in ft. Wolters Army flight school 71-15 . Graduated ft.Rucker and flew uh-1h hueys in vietnam 229th/1st cav . We called it mattel messerschmidt. Just want to say thankyou to the instructors who got my ass thru it all.

There should be a flag that you "remove before flying"? on the pitot tube.

There was an crash due to they forgot something(before the checklist), so the checklist was established for each aircraft by manufacturer.
