Dang this map is so tragic BUT SO GOOD? THIS CONCEPT IS SO UNIQUE? The precious kits innocently testing the Dark Forest barrier, but breaking it and being overwhelmed by all their fears and the savagery of the DF cat's spirits until Swiftpaw pushes through his own fears to sacrifice his spirit to protect the kits is so sad but creative😭
2:21 onwards hit me so hard for some reason. The hawk, the water, the snow, it just bring back memories of the times where the poor books got thrown at the wall (i did that alot when someone died 😭🖐)

I honestly feel like if MapleShade saw what Swiftpaw was willing to do to keep the kits safe and happy (especially her own three kits), she’d definitely do something/try to help him. Everything she did was for the sake of her kits, and she didn’t do it in a good way, revenge and murder isn’t a way to deal with your trauma (kids book 😀), but the fact that she did what she did for those kits is still a fact.

This thing holds such a special place in my heart. It was the first MAP call I ever saw, I joined the server and soon joined another MAP that needed participants. And it all spanned from there. If this was never created, I may have never discovered my love for animation or have met my bestest friend who I met through a server I was invited to through this. All of the participants did so well, and thank you for creating this masterpiece.
It has been such an honor to be a part of this MAP. Everyone’s parts are so beautiful and came together so nicely, you can see the love and care that was put into each and every part. Not to mention the community that grew in the discord, being so welcoming and kind. Thank you for allowing me to participate and i hope to follow and help with any future projects for this series and beyond!! ❤❤
i think this might be THE map where i had the most fun making the part, its still one of the parts im most, if not THE proudest of.the atmosphere of the server was WONDERFUL and everyone did an AMAZING job, im beyond happy to see this finished!
I haven’t even watched this yet I just finished reading the context of the au and one who ever thought of that is amazing because the idea and concept of it is actually so good and I e never seen anyone think of something like that before! I’m already exited to watch it
I feel like this should be in the series, and when Ivypool comes to the dark forest, maybe she could have helped him, or he could have helped her! I’m really sad that Swiftpaw was just there for the plot, i think he should have been included more. Also, my question is: why are there no grown up cats there to help?! They just left a teenager and some children unattended! Just more proof that StarClan is not very smart.
I think my favorite book was the one about all the cats with images of each one. I felt so bad for the kits. My favorite was snow kit. It always broke my heart to know they passed so soon
This is an amazing map! I would love a sequel to this story where perhaps MapleShade (despite the fact that I hate her) saw SwiftPaw saving her kits and trying to help SwiftPaw back into StarClan. Maybe even be able to get to see her kits. Everyone did an amazing job at animating this beautiful map!

honestly this MAP could make a good explanation to why Frecklewish is in the Dark Forest(AU wise of course). After Frecklewish dies, as some kind of punishment for watching and doing nothing while Mapleshade's kits drown I guess, Starclan puts her in charge of watching over kits of Starclan and after an incident with the barrier shattering, Frecklewish has to sacrifice herself for the betterment of the kits and cross over to the Dark Forest to fix the barrier, trapping her in there

I realised why swiftpaw was in the nursery area--- He was also a young cat that needed to forget his traumatic death
