Interpretations of Music: Lessons for Life
with Benjamin Zander

Such an amazing teacher. Even I inspired from him and wanna take my violin on my hand, play untill morning
I don't know anything about music, I can consider myself a real caveman in that sense. But Mr. Zander is able to drag you in his world and spend hours listening to his passion. I wish I was able to meet him and let the energy flow through my body. He's inspiring, he truly is.
This is definitely the most joyful interpretation class I’ve seen! This just further proves that playing Mozart brings out the best in musicians.
He gives her so much confidence; the mark of a great leader.
It's true. After watching schlomo mintz give an absolutely abhorrent masterclass, it's reassuring to see such kindness and positivity in an instructor.
I feel a lot of mozart's music is full of such a pure unblemished joy , a childlike happiness to truly play these peices you must feel that joy pouring out of you. You can feel it just listening to the music let alone being the vessel for it.
This man in unbelievable. A couple of sentences and the player is transformed. Wow.
This guy is such a character! Wish I could have a master class with him! Also, I know this piece very well having played it since I was 15. This piece may seem easy note per note, but believe me, it's the playing the notes clean and with good articulation and lots of lush vibrato that makes it so difficult! All while going 140 bpm! And under pressure! I for sure noticed a huge difference in the violinist's performance when the master class teacher was goofing around a bit as she played. I will for sure remember this guy the next time I perform live! Thanks.
I wish i had a mentor like mr zander… he is such a kind granpa who embraces all kinds of worries
Crying inside with joy for her and having fun watching this.
The tender version of the slow movement was soooo touching.
I really appreciated this masterclass.
The teaching on exuberant playing was a tremendous blessing to me also. Am studying another early Mozart violin concerto and will apply everything. Huge thank you to this channel and Mr Zander. G Ire (adult student).
OMG! Even after 30 years, Ben is still dancing!!!!
Wow what a huge diference when she plays with him, amazing.
Violin is so hard to play, esp under pressure. People just don't know the pain.
I agree. Growing up learning the violin was such a pain on my neck, shoulders etc. And then you're asked to play in tune and there is nothing there to guide your fingers to the right spot on the fingerboard.
I’m a guitarist that’s learning to play the violin and I completely agree, staying in tune is a difficulty for me.
I imagine Wolfgang surprisingly taking a violin to play this concerto as telling the people, see I can play this thing too. aha!
I do . I have been learning for 11 years and still I need to learn a lot
Tell me about it. The uncontrollable shaky bow when stepping on stage…. Omg
A great inspiration and teacher Mr. Zander. Thank you.
“Can you do it again, and pretend that your life is great?” Love him 😍
Beautiful playing and intonation - I think she'll go on to great things.
actually some of her notes were slightly out of tune when she first started off. listen carefully. but when zander got in, she played them all perfectly in tune with great springful style and human spirit.
She is a brilliant violinist!!!
She sounded so much better with his advice. Mozart is the most difficult composer to play, at least for me.
For me definetly Bach, i personally think, that Mozart is not that hard for me and I understand him fast, maybe thats my talent
@@toffifeewolf2069 Mozart has a kind of mathematical pattern to it.
Dina is such a brilliant accompanist
You know,... my one problem with Mozart is... no matter how you play it,
Someone will come running around a corner and complain about the intonation
The pianist is fantastic......
Non dorei, a cominciare da come sta seduta.....troppo bassa!!!
Wow wow wow he is like a magician
He is fantastic!
I am no expert but I know she is not only not very happy but she is actually feeling sad and she is doing a really great job hiding it.
Benjamin Zander gives me enough couraje to go on living
this old man is sooo cool!
Дина всегда прекрасно играет и выглядит.
Was I listening to beautiful violin or powerful piano?
Großartig!
Beyond and amazing find art...
Indeed, who cares about bloody boring critics.. just give it your best and enjoy.
0:42 is when I'm so done with studying
It's really completely different after digging into the character of the composer.
I love how his excitement always has him out of breath. If only more leaders in work places and government and anywhere could bring this energy and knowledge.
Beautiful violinist
I was always told not to look at my fingers !
What is her first piece?
What is the spelling of Amedeity he is talking about?😢😢

un violon qui coule de source
She is great at playing, but she needs more dynamics!
My classical music knowledge has been increased and you are right.
She knows Wolfgang well enough. But does not project enough especially because a lack of bow use. There is so much to say about her frasing as well, the thrill ??? So important ?
Nice words of Benjamin and some members of the public, but the violinist is NOT in need of therapy. Got lost as a scolarship student and obviously looking disappointed. Look, at her in the second movement. Just a waste of time for her, she can really play beautifully.
You want to play Mozart ?
Do not dress like for a funeral.
What a fart
Anyone else think master classes are useless
No lol Its been 7 months and still no one does
