My wonderful son is also a musician. as was his dad.... his dad was playing piano -jazz in Hotels. in Montreal and Toronto..His son is also a talented musician .... My son introduced me to Beegie Adair! I Never stopped listening to her... she is marvellous so smooth and easy going it is like falling in love! She brings back so many memories and evokes passion!

Beegie is without a doubt one of the most "listenable" musicians, ever. She is amazing. She plays for a broad audience, and does not get in the way of the song. Instead, she sings the song expressively with her fingers, and she excels in dynamics, phrasing, colors, and every other way imaginable. Piano never sounded better.

Many jazz pianists improvise and often go way off on a tangent, leaving the melody behind. Beegie's flourishes and embellishments aways encompass the main melody without going too far off piste. Her touch on the keyboard always remains gentle, she never hammers away like some jazz pianists.

I confess I never heard of Beegie Adair until this week when I was listening to satellite radio and I was captivated by the piano playing. I said, "What a fantastic name! I must know who this is!" I am so glad I researched her. How amazing. Have a wonderful holiday season everyone!
