This is scam. Those two batteries are not cross compatible. This company offers various P/N on their website but always sends 061384 claiming it is cross compatible which is not true. Please be aware that Bose made two different battery types for Soundlink Mini I. Those manufactured between 2013 and 2014 has S/N 061xxx. and those manufactured between 2014 and 2016 has S/N 063xxx. Speakers made between 2013-2014 uses: 061384, 061385, 061386. Those made between 2014-2016 uses: 063404, 063287. All types are not cross compatible.

Yes, you can first check whether your machine model is Bose soundlink mini 2. Replacement of the battery of this machine requires welding.
