My grade 8 teacher bought one the exact same colour. He traded in his 66 bright red Charger. Will never forget him . His name was Art Rowan from Brampton Ont. Great teacher.
Back around 1970 I made the mistake of doing a stop light drag race with one of these things in my gf's old man's 390 Cougar. That Z28 just exploded away from the light with a roar like an enraged beast. Lesson learned.
one of my favorites. Would love if it had the cross-ram option. Those are awesome! Yeah I know the dealer had to put them on as the factory wouldn't but it's still pretty cool!
@rockabillyrods83169 The early 1969 Z28s assembled before February of 1969 had 7k tachometer. Later in the model year Chevrolet upgraded it to 8k. The redline was still the same at 6000 rpm.
It's too bad we don't have smellovision...old cars have a distinct smell, beyond the unburnt fuel. Some people dislike the smell, but I think it's cool.
You can always tell the sound of a chocked out motor with those restrictive, clunkey, factory exhaust manifolds. For the love of god, put some headers on that thing.
Love these old cars I wish I was a teen back when the muscle car era was in full swing
I was but that means I am old now. :-)
@@lukewalker1051 I'm jealous sir
That green with the stripe is just beautiful
The best Z28 ever!!! 👍👍

I had one also in Fathom green metallic with the white stripes.... That was a long time ago...
Nothing will ever sound as good as oldschool big blocks and small blocks!
Dam a DZ302 car ultra rare
That 302cid v8 is so nice to hear after a long day
Yup... nothing like it!! I can smell the fumes from here too. Love it!
Love a RS Z28. Top shelf cars here.❤
Z28 and 69 were the king of the streets because of the small tires that were available.

Beautiful camaro 🖒
Beautiful car, as a satisfied LMC customer, I KNOW only the best rolls out of your shop !! 👍
Growing up, a friend of mines father had a 69 SS/RS CAMARO DZ302 with 4 in the floor. Man that was a BAD ASS car😃😃😃
one of my favorites. Would love if it had the cross-ram option. Those are awesome! Yeah I know the dealer had to put them on as the factory wouldn't but it's still pretty cool!
What adds to it is the whine of a M-22 rock crusher four speed, especially if it's equipped with 4.10 or better yet 4.56 positraction rear end.
Now that’s the king of cars with that sweet 302.
Those old Z28's were some high revving screamers that 302 small block was a little monster hands down best Z28 ever made.
What a beautiful car
American muscle
Beautiful car
Dream car ❤❤❤
Is this a real DZ 302 w/M22 and a 3:73 posi 12 bolt!?!??? Or a well done clone!
Wether real or not, it's amazing, if it's a well done clone, that just means you can have stress free fun: 😊
It's a nice clone.. Wrong tach.. Real Z have 8k RPM..As the other comment said stress free. Cars are meant to be driven not parked and tuck away .
@@rockabillyrods83169Some had 7k some had 8k tach. Some had 140 speedo most had 120. I know..
@@rockabillyrods831698k tach and 140 speedo was an option, not standard equipment.

Beautiful aspirated American v8
Classic
When the keychain hit... 😳🙈
I owned one, 427 cubes HP.
❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
i thought the 302 was a high revving motor not 56 hundred rpm
That's my car 😍🤩🤑
What is the story behind this one??
I miss you talking about the cars you have.😔
RAHHHH🦅🦅🦅
I have the Lego set of that

Norwood car❤
Wuz up with the YENCO 69😊

Does this C28 have the optional muffler pipes that were like glass packs?
A v6 Camry would smoke it.
rear seat delete AMX what's back there?
Its pretty nice for a girls car
While new cars are faster and perform better, these old cars have something the new ones don’t - Elvis.
The new stuff has no Elvis in it.
You start off showing a Z28 then end it showing a rally sport and the 427ci is bad ass
And you don't know the difference between a small block and a big block.
Chevy was first at the 302 they screwed themselves .
To bad you don't have the factory 2 X4 CARBS
NIce, but I'll take a Boss 9 please!!
Beautiful 😍
