Methyldopa centrally acting anti hypertensive drug usually used in chronic hypertension In cases of urgency hydralazine and labetolol ( should be avoided in women have asthma congestive heart failure )is the drug of choice Hypertensive drugs compatible with Breast feeding : Captopril Diltiazem Enalapril Hydralazine Hydrochlorothiazide Labetalol Methyldopa Minoxidil Nadolol Nifedipine Oxprenolol Propranolol Spironolactone Timolol Verapamil, Diuretics (furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, and spironolactone) may reduce milk production. Metoprolol is classified as compatible with breastfeeding, although it is concentrated in human milk. Acebutolol and atenolol should not be used in nursing mothers. No antihypertensive has been proven safe for use during the first trimester. Drug therapy was indicated for uncomplicated chronic hypertension when diastolic BP was ≥100 mm Hg (Korotkoff V). Treatment at lower levels may be indicated for patients with diabetes mellitus, renal disease, or target organ damage.
Excuse sir but is headache a mark of HTN emergency or it needs other signs to be called as HTN emergency like seizure or ams or it should be severe headache ? Thanks in advance

There was LV hypertrophy with asymmetric t wave inversion.. So ACS ruled out..
