I spent many years working in the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia. It is a stunningly beautiful country. Thank you so much for this wonderful reminder! I always thought it would make a magnificent venue for a Dakar. Clearly somebody else had the same idea!!

@CS_247 dunes is what Dakar is all about... A lot of the rally was just on flats and it really didn't have much character to the stages
