@@RemyTrahantgreat video btw! I forgot to say. Very very well put together clips with the voice over, from the tour guide. Well done. I hope you loved Liverpool.
I live just along the road from John Lennon's old house, when i pass John's house sometimes i am asked to take pics of the tourists, esp' couples....it's always a good feeling to see the smiles of joy on their faces..knowing they will treasure the memories and my pics of them for the rest of their lives!
Thanks for posting this. I went on the tour a few years ago and this brought back so many memories. I never do the tourist thing, but it's The Beatles.
Hi Remy Thanks for the video. I am 68 years old - grew up with their releases etc and I am still obsessed. Your tour was better than the one I took when in Liverpool - did not go to Arnold Grove but was able to spend an hour each in John and Paul's respective houses which was lovely.
Thanks, David! Glad you enjoyed. Can’t take much credit as the video is mostly the tour leader but he was fantastic and it was a lot of fun! I would definitely take it again. I went back to some of the sites later on in my visit and got to spend more time there which I recommend. Take care!
I've done it twice, both in 2019. First time was superb, with an excellent female host. Second time was a grumpy bloke, who banged on about how the Tories had ruined the country (whether that's true or not, it is NOT what I want to hear on a Beatles tour!).
John, Paul, George, and RINGO was for me, as was for millions of musicians, the reason why we wanted to play music. I am grateful for what the Beatles, and these men as individuals had given the world. I even wrote a little song about this place called "take me to Liverpool". Gos something like this: take me to Liverpool, take me to Liverpool. I want to go, I need her so, so take me to Liverpool. Put me on a big jet plane, put me on a boat or train. I just don't care as long as I'm there. Take me to Liverpool. Now I'm here in my jet lear. I feel so fine, all the time, 'cause I'm back in Liverpool. Mike gladden, may 17, 2024
thank you so much for this video! I’ve seen this tour bus in other beatles related videos & always been curious about it since im not sure id ever get the chance to make the flight & trip, its sooooo far from me, but thank you for this!
Good video and nice to see people enjoying themselves seeing were it all happened. Im from Liverpool myself and worked in my dads garage in east albert rd in the 70s and 80s and as a kid we used to hang around the boys club just off Menlove Avenue and woolton road, great memories.
John grew up in Woolton. Not Walton, as you show in a still image. They are very different areas to say the least. Woolton is very middle class and leafy with large parks. Walton is very working class with small houses and a very different income level.
Fantastic trip and guide! I did a similar Magical Mystery Tour in October 1984 (the time of No More Lonely Nights, Valotte, Ray Coleman's Lennon hardbacks) in an MMT bus. To this day I'm unsure if it was the original coach as used in the film.
Just another little snip it, There is a tour bus that goes from Speak hall and they take you to Paul and John's house which includes going inside to see all the rooms. I have been on this and you can go through every room and you get a real sense of the atmosphere, a must for any Beatles fan.
Sounds amazing! I didn’t realize till we were on the tour that there are in fact OTHER Beatles tours, when a giant yellow Rolls Royce painted as the submarine rolled up in front of Strawberry Fields and some tourists popped out!
Its a great tour and the best way of seeing Beatle related places. I went on the same tour a few months after Johns murder and I was fine........until I got to the gates of Strawberry Fields where the tears streamed down.
@@RemyTrahant Remy! Grande prazer e espero um dia conhecer Liverpool. Logicamente, seria interessante pegar esse ônibus para fazer o tour turístico dos Beatles. Meu clube de coração é o Everton F.C
Iam from Liverpool and 1 minute in I have got to make a comment about the tour guide on the bus telling lies,it doesn't always rain in summer, and if it does rain then it is not exclusive to Liverpool,by the way in October 1911- March 1912 Adolf Hitler lived in Liverpool in the Toxteth ( L8) area about 1 mile from where Ringo Starr grew up, I Love the Beatles the Greatest Pop/Rock band in the history of the universe.

@@RemyTrahantYes Brian Wilson is an amazing genius, but John Lennon is a level above just because he was so outspoken and called the tyrants out and put his neck on the line, probably the real reason he was assinated if the truth be told, if you don't believe me ask Bob Dylan he even sings about it on his 2012 Album "Tempest " or read the book " Who killed John Lennon " by Fenton Bresler " respect from socialist Liverpool.
Took the tour last week. Was good except the Penny Lane stop. Only saw the new Penny Lane sign not original one and could not walk up the street to the bank, barbershop, and roundabout-disappointed
No, no permission needed. They are happy to have the social media exposure. Love to see what the city looked like in 1987! Such a vibrant and musical city, love to return someday.

Great tour guide.. credit to the Beatles and the city
Brilliant tour! We had Neil as our tour guide and Dennis as our driver.
Liverpool. The city the world owes for its music.
The city made a little bit of an impact in that area 😉

At 16:22 you show a sign for Walton, but the guide was actually referring to Woolton. But its a great video - thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
