When I was a little boy.I met Ms.Coreta King..I will never forget that moment..Rev.Dr.Martin Luther King was the only preacher I trust besides,Jesus and of course GOD.❤
REST IN HEAVENLY PEACE MRS . KING . YOU ARE OUR QUEEN, ICON CLASSY BEAUTIFUL LADY . REST IN PARADISE WITH YOUR HUSBAND, DAUGHTER AND SON . THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DID FOR OUR PEOPLE. WE ARE ENTERNALLY GRATEFUL AND BLESSED FOR YOU AMEN AMEN HALLELUJAH 🙌. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
you see the difference in her generation and this one we made up are own games weplayed outside. the were very inventive in her day.i used to do the same thing.
I know, I feel so bad because I read that she had been wanting a grandchild, and she passed before she was even born! It's messed up, that little Yolanda will never meet her grandmother. I am most certain that they would have been really close!!
I think the Kings are like how some " royal ," families are. Trying to stay away or keep people out that may filtrate their family " legacy!" Therefore all but one married.
Buried next to MLK did a great job maintaining his legacy after his unfortunate assassination. She was actually older than MLK I find that interesting RIP to her,MLK and oldest child Yolanda.
In what she says about kids being better off when they make up their own games I hear echoes of my father, who despaired of the amount of time we spent in front of the TV.
Please read the authorized posthumous autobiography of Mrs. King. It's titled My Life, My Love, Legacy. You will gain some insight into the "righteous fights" she had to engage in after Dr. King's death with some not so righteous crooks like Ralph Abernathy...Rest is peace Mrs. King and continue the struggle.
Sandra Atkins: I have her autobiography and read it and I ordered it from Amazon in February and I enjoy reading it and I also have the first autobiography of hers which I love also, and all the things she wrote in both of her autobiographies is the same struggle that continues today and R.I.P Coretta Scott King!!!!
Abraham Alvarez - Coretta Scott King was famous for: 1) being married to the Black American Civil Rights Leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and 2) for defining his legacy, after he was assassinated on April 4, 1968 and continuing his work for the next 38 years, until her death in 2006. As such, she is often referred to as “The First Lady of the Civil Rights Movement”.

Mrs. King was just (and still is) just breathtaking, and had a calming quality in her speaking voice, and manner. Have always loved and respected her.
Lol! This beautiful revelation gave me a nice laugh. The quick-to-fight tomboy becomes the quintessential lady of peace!
