Review & Sample analysis - i don't know why, but this is somehow the most emotional song in this album for me, despite being relatively more dance-y. maybe it’s the fact that now both artists (daftpunk and sewerslvt) have quit the music scene, that’s definitely a part of my reason why. i also like how during the hyperactive parts, the drums seem to alternate between two patterns, trill/trap and breakbeats. yet they’re mixed and filtered in a way that makes it seamless. like it feels like they’re both playing at the same time, but one of them quiets down while the other louds up, and they’re taking turns doing so. and that chiptune synthesizer that comes in a bit over halfway through the song, it adds onto the emotion of it. it’s like the track foreshadowed both artist’s farewells, like a commemoration but before it actually happens.
