I'm Japanese The term "rising sun" refers to Japan's location as seen from China For Japanese people, the sun rises from the Pacific Ocean, so we do not typically refer to our own country as the "land of the rising sun" This has nothing to do with not knowing the direction, though
@@konikoni-n9f True, but your flag symbol is the (rising) sun nonetheless. She only got confused because of the english compass right? Either way I think it's cute when girls a little dumb
I’m positive that’s why Okayu is trying to give that little push into turning Subaru into a full on yandere. Subaru has the pieces, just needs a target of obsession lol
Subaru does have a point regarding compasses. There's no reason not to swap out N,E,S,W with the respective characters for the directions in whatever language the intended user speaks
Only as a secondary in addition to NESW letters. You want a system that's always the same irrespective of language when it comes to directions, esp as most of the time it's used by plane pilots and ship captains which use English internationally
Man, Mio is truly the gem connoiseur She's like that one character who's usually a merchant or a noble that collects rare gem Or something equivalent of Medal King from Dragon Quest
