I envy you guys. I lost my dad four years ago, there is an emptiness in the woods for me now. Enjoy your time together, laugh like hell, and make some memories. Thanks so much for sharing your dad time with us.
Awesome! Casey, so glad you found your buck, I struggle with composure every time I draw my bow on an animal...I think lots of us do...I have to give myself a pep talk every time.." It's an easy shot, all I have to do is go through the mechanics...easy" yeah...easy, it never is. I had a chip shot on my bull this year, 36 yds, broadside...all the time in the world...hit back. I got lucky and threaded a tricky arrow in him again at 60...and heard him die...lucky. love the hushin channel..keep it up guys! Awesome!
Reaper, Texas hunting is a hoot. We have a great whitetail population. I had five whitetail tags, a mule deer tag, four turkey tags, great dove and duck seasons, upon others. Wild hogs are open season, along with axis deer. Not much public land, but if you know people, there is always an abundance of private land and wild food. I was able to hunt enough this year to feed my family and share with others this year. It is truly great in this state. My game count so far for this season, two whitetail, six pigs, eight rabbits, 18 ducks, four squirrels, a bobcat, too many fish to count, and I decided to wait until the spring turkey season, when I will also be shed hunting.
wow I'm so glad that you guys were able to find that buck for Casey! what a great series this has turned out to be, truly unforgettable for the hush crew I imagine.
Great series guys. Kudos for taking your dads out on a great adventure. For various reasons this will never happen for some of us. My dad passed away 21 years ago when I was 21. But these videos reinforces the time and money I'm putting into my own kids.
Respect to Casey's dad for putting that buck's tongue back in his mouth. It may be a cull buck and maybe isn't going to get a ton of pictures taken with him but he still deserves the same respect as the others.
I love seeing you guys hunting for whitetails here in Laredo I think the best thing to do in Laredo is to go fishing at the lake, hunting at the ranch, and playing paintball
Ok, private land bait hunts...never done it but you guys are making it look really fun with you dads. I would love to take my dad out there from Idaho! Thanks for all the hard work guys. Making videos is not easy
"Big" Texas bucks... I'm a 5th Gen Native Texan and even *I* know the Texas subspecies is TINY. Your Dad could carry that out on his shoulders, in the round! It's so hard to judge their size when you're used to huntin' way up North...as I am, too. N ME, ND, MT, ID, WA... hunted all places less than 5 miles from the Canadian border. 200+ lb deer... (as the old Mainers say, "Antlers don't make good soup!") Yes, I'm a Texan who's lived more than half their life up by the Northern border, instead of the Southern border! Haven't lived in Tejas for many years, but you'll never get 'the Texas' outta me! COME AND TAKE IT!
I think you guys are referring to a "cull" buck. That is a Buck with poorer genetic make up in the horns. You don't want them breeding with does to spread the less than ideal horn makeup. The hushin crew might correct me but here in Oz that what we do also. Great work guys! Lovin it as usual. Cheers
Hi, my name is Canyon Pilling. I live in Utah. Close to Salt Lake. I have never been hunting, ever. I really like to see your videos because that is the closest thing to hunting I'll ever see. I have also only shot a total of two guns in my life. A 22 rifle and some sort of revolver. I hope that I will be able to go hunting some day and I also hope that I will meet the Hush crew.
Got my firebull hushin hat in the mail today but wondering when the green digital camo one that Eric has been wearing will be on there? I think the green would one would look great with all the new Sitka gear I bought
on Eric's Instagram story today Casey got mad when asked where his buck was and I thought maybe they didn't find it... anyone else? so happy you found Casey's buck tho
Hunter Bob it's a cull buck it means that the genetics of the buck arent as good as good genetic bucks and you don't want them making more cull bucks so you manage them so you don't have bad genetics running around
I love you guys! sorry for crappy comment last night. congratulations to all the dads and look forward to great content in the future. if any advice on finding sheds in Indiana I'd appreciate it!

The video of the buck walking away at 12:03 would make for a great still frame photo . Looks really cool. Great videos. Stellar hunt over all.
Awesome!

Heath Hoogerhyde Feb. 👍🏼
Hushin , I'm buying one as soon as they come out
if you flew to Texas, how are you going to bring the meat home?
Adam Offen Either check a cooler as their luggage or ship it from the processor.
Lots of options. We are taking ours home in Yeti coolers
One suggestion to make these videos a little better. Use a little wind screen like the one RomanAtwood uses.
The "micro windjammer" that Roman uses is very good. Pretty sure there is no windscreen in use on the camera.
So much fun guys 👍🏼👍🏼
on Eric's Instagram story today Casey got mad when asked where his buck was and I thought maybe they didn't find it... anyone else? so happy you found Casey's buck tho
is this series going in a Playlist?
great hunt keep the videos up
deer run to water to cool off when you gut shot them because they feel the burning sensation like the old man was telling you about. Awesome deer
Hey guys... how about a HUSH hat with the whitetail logo from this video series...
Did u prank us on Instagram u asked Casey where his deer was and he acted really mad
great videos on all the hunts. Casey should have put a rope drag on the buck n pulled him out of the brush would have been easier.
HI hush fam

What broad heads do you guys use?
Way to go
The deer must have been thirsty after that loop
can i go hunting with you guys?!?!?!? if it help persuade you i live close to Casey!!

What is a coal deer
AWESOME
I live in Laredo
what is a cole buck
Hunter Bob a cull buck is a buck that they want to take out of the herd because of age or genetics.
a cull deer is a weaker or inferior deer that is shot for population management
I will bet you all a million dollars that you will NEVER HEAR Casey say that again 16:25....Im glad is not an elk!
HATE ME IF YOU WILL....Picture Zach Galifianakis whenever Casey Lavere talks.
Gut shot deer always head to water! If it's around anyway. Way cool you got it!
You can have as many coal deers as you want?
givememore4free kull*
It depends on the land owners management needs
tyhoe *cull
koul*
Definitely in the bone zone.
I’m dead
what is a coal buck *
Hunter Bob it's a cull buck it means that the genetics of the buck arent as good as good genetic bucks and you don't want them making more cull bucks so you manage them so you don't have bad genetics running around
16:53 Got eeem. Lol
can you hunt moose nxt time?
Hi
awesome hunt. this had to have been over a 20,000 dollar hunt. cool but not reality.
Thomas Anderson You are way off. Very realistic hunt especially comparing it to the cost of an out of state land owner tag or elk/deer licenses.
I love you guys! sorry for crappy comment last night. congratulations to all the dads and look forward to great content in the future. if any advice on finding sheds in Indiana I'd appreciate it!
You guys realy need a windbreaker on ur cameras
your lucky coyotes didn't get it and big mistake wearing shorts.
I wish they would allow us to use dogs to locate wounded animals in Utah.
YES #737
I thought it didn't turn out well because of the Instagram story
Will O'Connor 😜
congrats Casey. awesome deer. you'll remember this one forever!
