Already played against Avalugg in master league a few times today and it does feel like it has to be the master league's version of how Steelix was in the ultra last season: Insanely bulky and able to slow games to a crawl by stacking debuffs on top of debuffs. My team has good coverage against it and it's still hard work to take down.

You did not encounter a single kyogre here.... which is kind of weird. I have seen kyogre in any single oppoent I hve fought so far, so frustrating! how would you respond to it?

Hey Henry. I’m wondering if steel wing dragonite could be used instead of dragon breath
I'm going to try this. (I just tried steel wing dragonite is so good! The energy generation is faster than before and steel wing doing super effective damage on fairy types. I farmdown a zacian with steel wing. But using steel wing dragonite becomes weak against other dragon Pokemons & kyogre is giving some good fight now).
Steel Wing is now a pretty good move so yes. Still think Dragon Breath is the better choice overall but Steel Wing could be fun against fairy types and ice types
Try it and let us know? Had to safe swap out of mine a lot out of 10 games played this morning. Rhyperior safe swap won almost Every game back though.

I dont know why they are so conservative when buffing certain moves like mud slap. It could at least be 3.5 energy or give it 4.8 dmg per turn

You'd want something that can do well vs dialga and the fairies, while still doing OK vs hooh!
I don't have avalugg so I replaced it with melmetal, maybe you can try that? I use melmetal as swap for bad leads and rely on rhyperior sweep in back. It's doing pretty well in the 2200 range

Fairy lead I safe swap rhyperior, tank a cc if they stay in, and play for avalugg as a sweeper with shields!

And also beware of new bugs as there is that bewear pokemon which uses drain punch move as fast move and buff its defence 😂 fast af instead of using dp as charge move and being slow😂
