I miss Bishop Ellis too but we have to take all that he has taught us, which is a lot, and make sure it is down on the inside. Thanks Elder Rogers. God bless the memory of Bishop David L. Ellis.
I'm not Apostolic, but this sound like some good churchin like we use to have in the Church Of God In Christ! We all Holiness/Pentecostal Churches anyway, so it really don'tmake any difference!
I love the pioneers of the gospel and appreciate what the did for my spiritual beginning as a youth. I was brought up under the gospel and the hymns and would 't change any of that. Priceless it is to be rooted and grounded. Those were the best days ever!
Bishop David Lee Ellis was the first preacher that ever made it clear for me, and for the longest I was lost without his guidance. I will miss him forever. I still hear his words in my new walk with Christ.
Its's been 11yrs since Bishop has been gone. I was at the homegoing sevices. I was apart of this wonderful ministry. But there is times I still can't belive THE BISHOP is gone. We miss you Bishop so so much we love you and I love you Bishop but God loved you more! Can't wait to dance with you in a while in glory!

Bishop David Ellis is the father of Bishop Charles Ellis. Bishop Charles Ellis can be seen on the Word Network every evening @ 8p est/5p pst. Bishop Charles Ellis took the mantel of Greater Grace Temple- Detroit when his father passed in March 1996. Both father and son were/are great men of God, true shepherds to God's people.
The Bishop that you are referring to is this Bishop's brother. He is the Bishop of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park in Chicago, Ill. They are brothers.
