1.Anterior
Joint with cuboid calacenocuboid joint
2.Posterior
In 3 parts a.Anterior 1/3 related to bursa
Middle part attachment to plantaris and Achilles tendon
Lower part subcutaneous.
3.Superior
Into 3 parts posterior 1/3 is non articular
Middle 1/3 articular articulate surface talus form subtalar joint.
Anterior 1/3 also has articular and non articular part
Articualr surface form talcanonavicalcular joint
4.Posterior
5.Medial
Concave above doenwards
Has bony shelf sustaneculum talae 4 attachment : Spring ligament,Supefical fibres deltoid ligament,a slip of fiber of tibalis posterior,medial talacalcoen joint
Medial to that Fhl
6.Lateral :Flat subcutaneous
Anterior surface peroneal tubercule has pb,pl, peroneal reticulum
