I've never ridden a fat bike and always assumed they were slow and cumbersome. You guys were flying!
Fat bikes can be pretty rippin' fast!!! and ou can ride them almost anywhere unlike other bikes.
There pretty fast little harder to start but you can get around the same speed
I'm watching it now while I work but the next time I have to train indoors this is it. :)

is it a real bianchi fat bike? also i just bought a second hand 2015 fuji wendigo size S/M which is actually a size Medium on the latest iteration. im 5'7 and i think the toptube is kissing my groin. the size should fit my height. did i got the size wrong and should have looked for size Small?
It is real! He usually has the coolest bikes. Best thing when buying bikes is to test and get fitted at the shop. Hard for me to day without seeing
@@BikeLifewithRob i did had a bike fit but on road bikes. This is my first on a fat bike. But i saw a video that a 26er fat bike is equivalent to 19er and in 29er im supposed to be a Small frame. I also use small frame on 26er mtb so i can get more control. But the problem with my fatty is that i bought it secondhand from someone else and didn't have time to fit it from bike shop. Regarding the bianchi. It is my dream bike since i started cycling i always wanted to have a bianchi. If i can just grab one of a fatty bianchi. But i can't see even one on the internet. Thanks. I watched one of you videos and i look for more fatty content. You guys are monsters on the road.

Sadly, most of the fat tires only come at 26. This limits the choices when buying a bike like the otherwise excellent Canyon Dude. For example, Jumbo Jim isn't available for 27.5
@@mikk01975 that’s a good point and why I continue to run 26 even though my bike will do 27.5
those Nextie Wild Dragon Tri-Spoke wheels on the green Bianchi bike (2:12 - 2:35) look pretty interesting... does anyone have any experience with them or know much about them?
Jimmi loves them and has been using them a lot. I would say they are pretty legit.

@@lichinich, ни о каких 3 атмосферах в колесах фэтбайка и речи быть не может, потому как производитель на покрышке пишет "до 30 Рси, а это "всего" 2 атмосферы. Думаю, Роб накачивает 10 Рси для таких трасс.

@@AOL0321 we don’t race road, but we do race MTB! Cat1/elite/pro, just depends on the race.
Beautiful moment: 38:45, mile 13, 1 mile at 3-5% grade--The pain train truly launches out of the station with Brent at the helm! Richardson in 2nd wheel and Pretty Boy in Pink running 3rd wheel with Martin protecting his back wheel. The FAT BIKE pain train roars on gobbling up an open class rider!
40:30-Pain train gauntlet is thrown..standing on the pedals to crest the hill!
40:50--Brent pulls off and lets Richardson take the helm. "Good pull!," I yell.
42:30-"Yee-Haw," Richarson yells. The hill is done and we hit a slight downhill and realize we "broke" the field. We have a sizable lead off the front.
43:10-Martin takes the helm and continues the high pace! And Brent asks me, "Do you know who you just dropped on the hill?" To which I reply, I have no idea.
43:25: Now that we're clearly gaped the field for the win, my race focus now becomes all about maintaining a high average speed with my goal of 19.1 avg. At this point we were around 18.6mph avg, so I knew we had work to do. I start shouting out pace updates and miles to go! We weren't content just to win, we were out to smash the course. Martin pulls on!
CancerBeDamned! Went from the top podium step on Saturday to the chemo chair on Monday for my 25th round. Had migraine all day Tuesday prior and still felt strong to race on Saturday!
1:27:27 --- Pouring it out! 1 mile to Go. Pace line perfection. Leave nothing on the course! Pretty Boy in Pink getting the Jumbo Vismo treatment of protection from his team!
1:28:06 -- Pretty in Pink Boy knows it's up to him in the last 1/2 mile. He launches off the front thanks to all the energy he saved in the draft for the past 29 miles! He begins to fade a bit and Rob Richardson is right there behind him, to give Pink Boy one more pull before sling shoting across the line first. Thanks guys!
