Temporary marriages are one of the most disrespectful acts against a family. Imagine having a daughter and as a father a man comes to your home and says can I marry your daughter for a few months? So you want to use my daughter, throw her away after you ....? This is like spitting into a fathers face and also saying the family is not good enough to stay in this family. If you marry a woman you also marry the family so a temporary marriage does disrespect the whole family. Anyone that considers a mutah marriage: Would you want your sister or daughter to be "borrowed + used" then thrown away? The divorce rate is already really high and zina is everywhere, time for us Muslims to do the right thing and show the mislead people that there is a right way of living called Islam. May Allah guide the people. Ameen.

I knew him personally for a few months and masha'Allah I found him to be legit sincere about the deen, praying salat al-layl and almost always listening to Quran and he used to carry a book of duas in his bag. Even got an older man to take the shahadah masha'Allah.

Mut'ah is a form of legal prostitution. The man pays for pleasure. Muttah just means pleasure and the time can be from 1 hour to a few days as agreed upon.

@@kingkatiin2658 No, Mutah was an order from Allah. It's in the Quran and the sunni hadith. Muhammed allowed it at a specific time but then he said to stop doing it. In the end - it was allowed.

Yeah Ali Dawah is claiming Misyar is not like Muttah. But Mo Hijab used it to marry his friend for a one night stand with a McDonalds meal dowry. Knowing the intention was to divorce. Just because he didn’t “state a timeframe” we all know very well it can be abused and used with the intention of sex and divorce.

Bro what is actually going on? I saw videos of people visiting XinJiang & UrumQI provinces which are mostly inhabited by muslims & they all seemed to happy. Even in some parts of Beijing, if there was smth going on, why would China allow travellers to go to those parts?

It's a tricky one. It's not like mutaa(temporary marriage) which is haram. A long as it's for the right reasons or circumstances and certain conditions are met then it's islamically legal. If your a revert and really want to marry but can't because of your surroundings and there's no other way, then I can see why it was an option for you. It means giving up a few rights on the woman's part so really look into whether it would suit you or not. Like in any marriage, they need to be practising deen.

Walahi when I first reverted many years ago a “Muslim” man tried to convince me to do this and that it was halal and normal and apart of Islam. That it was only for a fixed period so we could “get to know each other” and then we could decide to have a nikkah and real marriage. I felt shocked and nervous that a brother would approach me with something that sounded (to me), made up. I told him no and to not speak to me again and later found out through other sisters at the mosque that he had done this MULTIPLE times and “married” women one after another when each marriage term would “end”.

Also Prophet pbuh said the less mahr she asks for the more baraka theres in the woman which means the more she asks for the less baraka. Also in another hadith he advised us to make marriage easy not complicated. Where can a man on a minimum wage come up with 3 or 4k for mahr? Thats not a very good advise akhi

Where (exactly) was it abrogated? As in Sahih al-Bukhari i have read a whole section on its validity, but only 1 line of its prohibition. From what i understand (quote if you disagree) it was Abu Bakr my Allah please with him, that retracted its status not the Prophet pbuh.

The prophet did not forbid it. It is even in the Quran. He didn’t abrogate a marriage that is stated in the Quran. And the Sahaba are not allowed to create bidah by removing or adding their views on things.
Allah knows the intention within people’s heart. Misyar or Muttah or A full marriage. It can be abused if the person is I’ll at heart and takes advantage. And Allah swt knows best.

Misyar Marriage is not like Mut'ah marriage, in a Misyar marriage the wife willingly gives up her Islamic rights such as the husband providing her money, house etc.... like if she was already a wealthy woman and she doesn't want to burden her husband. If you are in Misyra marriage and you want a divorce you'll need a valid excuse as it was a valid permanent marriage unlike mut'ah

As a Muslim Ali, you are undeniably exposing the sins of fellow muslims. Since he has clearly repented and even went as far as publicly admitting his repentance, what are you getting by sharing those past videos which he regrets. Thats not necessary for Dawah is it? Publicly shaming a repentant Muslim is abusing such a platform that claims to prioritise Dawah. May Allah guide us all and protect us from slandering our brothers.

How do i ask permission to my non muslim parents to get married
It depends, are you yourself Muslim?

The permission is generaly by a muslim father, in case your father is not muslim, you can ask your brother or uncles if they are muslim, or any muslim relative, if none are muslim, you can then ask the imam of a mosque near you to be the one who assist you in the marriage.
nonetheless, you have to respect your parent and tell them that you are going to get married in case they are not muslim.
This is the process of permission :
1- Telling your muslim father / relative / imam that you have the intention to marry this person.
2- The day of the marriage act your muslim father / relative / imam has to be present and give his consent to the marriage.
P.S : No dating is allowed in islam, Normaly he has to contact your father then he has to come to your house alone or with his close family preferably, so he has to show himself, talk with your family, your father must be there to judge him.
He can visit you again to discuss things, but in the presence of a Mahram, (your brother, father, uncles).
Then he has to come again for engagement, then again for marriage act, then for marriage.
Both the guy and the girl are forbiden to be alone in any process of the marriage.
