When you say, "Concerning DPS, any non elemental setup will work", does that mean any high non-elemental Magical Damage weapon, or would high non-elemental Physical Damage weapons work as well? I have both, I'm just trying to figure out what my options are.
Hey, In fact the fight is made for physical! Magical is just "extra hard" because of the debuff. But the best setup would be a mdef buff, matk debuff, physical non elemental and some heal. To break the magical bar, materia is enough and no need to bring magical in the fight. Also LB's being both magical and physical works well to deplete the bar. So in my comment, I talk about physical Cloud, physical Zack & physical Tifa as options as well as Magical sephiroth/vincent is you Use barret like me for instance to buff them !
Also, once you survive the opening phase (double aoe) the fight becomes quite easy so not hesitate to lose some dps on subweapons just to survive. If you are losing to the dps race then you can try to optimize more limit cancel & damage on subweapons!
@@edisonchin2463 I dont even know if he can heal himself I know he can heal others but most probably not himself or if he can he simply died before able to do it!

Why didn't waltz 1 heal himself?

I know he can heal others but most probably not himself or if he can he simply died before able to do it!
