It's a killer arrangement and performance. When I played in Nolan Ranger's band, we did this great Henry Mancini classic, so it also brought back memories. Thanks for posting.
Really terrific well played- you hear a lot of fast solos with tapping and such -- then you hear this amazing clear alternating thumb and melody- wow this was beautiful!
love it! maybe i'm biased but there's a certain humor and rock n roll rebelliousness to doing these kinds of fingerstyle tunes on a steel string that just isn't there on classical guitar (at least when you're as good as this guy!) also i didn't realize that tune was by mancini
An entire orchestra on a six stringer 😍😍💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
We need more of this - real folks playing real instruments. Kudos!!
Great, that was a favorite of mine back in the day on the radio.
Brilliant piece of music...thanks, and well played!
Tony Cox is a fabulous guitarist.....have followed him for at least 40 years...
Legendary Guitarist. Great channel. Thanks Tony!
This brought back some wonderful memories. Thank you!

Excellent. I have never thought it was possible to arrange it so well for the guitar. ❤
An incredible performance! At least 4 parts on one guitar. As Tommy E. said "just think of the money I'm saving".
That is now my go to exercise for warm up!!! Absolutely awesome job!
Very groovy! Henry Mancini if I remember right, from the movie Hatari. Loved that as a kid.
Starring John Wayne!
@ Right, right! Lassoing a rhino in one dramatic scene. I could just about watch that movie again.
Congratulations. That's a wonderful arrangement and performance. Very clever.
When I was a kid , this song played , cousins and I twisted happily🥰
Impressive and very listenable. Good groove throughout.
Fantastic!

On one guitar? Phenomenal!
Nice job buddy!
The tune in this clip certainly needs no additional embellishments. Anyone who claims anything else is off base
Damn fine job. That walking bass is not easy
Is that the thumb making it sound like 2 guitar.?
👏👏👏👏🤗🤗🌻🌻
We used to play this song when I was in elementary school
bravo, man. this is playing the guitar.

Wow ! How to play R + L at the same time !?!
Who is this guy and where has he been hiding. So much music in on set of hands. Tommy E, find this guy. Rick Braun lookie here.
Sounds like 2 guitars
Yeah, the dude's a sold player. But the tune needs a fuzz pedal. You never know when some Iron Butterfly fans will show up.
haha
Non better.
AI will soon play guitar much better.
haha, AI will forever and a day be a mere facsimile
