The reason it's going crazy rn is the interest rate hike again, but it will 100% rise even during 2024 because of the etf's coming from blackrock, vanguard, fidelity, etc, which are gonna be passed soon by the sec due to the pressure. So yeah its a good investment. Not to mention, the CBDC's, which soon all of us are gonna use, is run using blockchain, so it is the possible future, but maybe it isn't

I honestly regret not buying bitcoin when i had the chance. Looking to buy now though but will there be any other decline in the price of bitcoin this year despite frequent assertions that the market is active? How long will the market be bullish? Predicting short-term market movements is extremely difficult in reality. It also essentially requires the investor to be right twice: they must perfectly time both their entrance to and exit from the market.
I recently stopped taking advise from RUclipsrs; cos' in the long run, I only end up with a jumbled collection of assets. Whereas all I needed to earn over $470k in less than two years was guidance from a true market expert. Maybe thats what you should do too.

I love it when I hear "experts" try to explain the reasons behind a rally (or a decline) AFTER it has happened. They really have no clue. In terms of bitcoin, nothing has fundamentally changed. I would attribute the rally to hype and herd behavior. People jump in when they see the price rising, which further raise the price. It's self-fulfilling prophecy. It's the greatest investment opportunity of a lifetime until it isn't.
While it's true that some of the rally can be attributed to hype and herd behavior, as people see the price rising and wish to capitalize on the trend, this is only a part of the story.
Rallies in the price of BTC typically correlates with negative actions from the Fed against it. Now that the world better understands the platform and tech behind it and how it emerged in response to the corrupt nature of centralized banking and devaluation of fiat currencies via excessive money printing. Nonetheless, BTC's resilience and growing acceptance suggest that it may continue to play a significant role in the evolving landscape of global finance. It's still the best performing asset appreciating 150%YTD, more than doubled relative to gold.
Buying crapto and Bitcoin is a fool's errand. This rubbish is built on the greater fool theory. Talk about real investment like wholesome low debt, highly profitable equities, responsible bond investments and hard assets. @@cameronmachado1774 Bitcoin is denominated in lots of currencies. If Argentinian Pesos cease to exist, would bitcoin have no value in Argentina or anywhere else? Of course not.
Bitcoin can also be traded directly for goods/services whenever both parties agree on a rate of exchange. For example, I might purchase a new car with 1 BTC. No dollars required.

The BTC move is simply because most traders believe that a spot ETF = credibility and greater adoption. Anyone with knowledge about securities knows the spot ETF does nothing for actually increasing Bitcoins inherent value, which is zero. The problem for shorts, though, is that there's so many willing to speculate that the price could increase for another month or more.
To some extent. Mainly BR/CHASE/CIRCLE/PAYPAL other etc are buying most likely behind the scenes in preparation of recommending 1-2% for all investors. 1-2% added to the market cap would be huge and will push it past Gold. Those firms know that they need another arrow to sell in their quiver cause many people know what a scam the stock market is with Zero protection from the SEC. Plus the 4 year cycle looks to be early with the halfing in April. FOMO kicking in... Could still see dips but Shorts have been crushed last 3 months.

Nothing has "intrinsic" or "inherent" value. All value is subjective. And the millions of free market participants are subjectively valuing Bitcoin at $42,500/BTC. Your opinion about Bitcoin's value is irrelevant.

This method involves estimating the company's future cash flows, discounting them back to the present using a discount rate, and then summing the discounted cash flows. The resulting value is the company's estimated intrinsic value. As you can see, based on accepted methods for determining intrinsic value, BTC has none. In the big picture, crypto is a new, novel technology that many people believed MUST have a use.....somewhere, for something. Fact is, there is no use case that makes sense. It will never be used a currency, e.g., My suggestion is take any gains and get out.....knowing it could rise another $10-20K. The only people that do well in a bubble are those who jump out B4 the pop.
