This has been a great change for Attuma. But I'm kind of sad about the Destroyer change. Not that it was a nerf, but sometimes I wanted to destroy everything.
It was absolutely a nerf, 16 to 14 power plus you can't Destroyer on the lane with Nimrod now which can lead to stacking too much power in 1 lane (Nimrod + Destroyer) and makes the destroyed (original) Nimrod lane empty

This deck is so good. The best part, it's new and a lot of players do not know how to deal with it. I have beaten this deck a few times with C2. Closing off lanes with storm and goose then shadow king venom or nimrod. I try to close off the lane with atuma with storm.
I ended up replacing X-23 with Destroyer in my version. I found I rarely needed the extra energy from her and her clogging board space really hurt those turn 6 and 7 Nimrod plays or if I wanted to Zola something.
I did okay with my own version of Nimrod Destroy, but yours is much better and allows me to farm Conquest. ...Silver and Gold Conquest, because Infinity ticket-holders are the luckiest Arishem players in the goddamn universe, but still.
you can just use a regular destroy deck and swap out deathlok for attuma. then I swapped out Bucky for Shang too. so to answer your question I don't know
Is this deck good for conquest? I always lose at the grandfinal and looking for new deck to bring me to the final. My best card is kazoo marvel boy. I never made so far using other deck

As much as I love this Attuma change idea.... did Destroy really need this big of a buff? I still think the archetype itself has way too many positive reasons to play it. Its always the top played deck type every season basically and it does everything already. It had energy cheat it doesn't care about Shang Chi 95% of the time, it loves so many locations, How Knull hasn't received a cap like Blob is beyond me... Attuma basically being a free extra Destruction for turns 4, 5 and 6 is pretty crazy. I used to love putting Attuma in a Destroyer/Orca deck, using cards like Armor and Prof X. I suppose he still works in those decks though, but this is a huge buff for Destroy. It kind of annoys me how often Second Dinner is willing to basically nerf entire archetypes like Lockdown or Junk, but they refuse to touch Destroy unless its to buff it.
The reason second dinner is so willing to buff destroy is that unlike something like junk it’s super intractable. Shang-chi, rogue, enchantress, cosmos, armor, shadow king, and even killmonger on the final turn to beat Deadpool all are strong tech cards while junk really only cosmo. Lockdown is the same with very little counter play other than just winning every location before professor x was played. Destroy is also currently not meta so a buff isn’t crazy. the biggest reason attuma did get changed was not only was it practically unplayed, but it works as a counter to junk decks while giving destroy a buff in prep for the next season of cards which are going to drastically increase the power level of the game.

In that specific scenario shuri was better but if you watched the video you would’ve seen attuma completely counter a junk deck and hold the lane on his own, if you’re gonna try to criticise the video at least watch it all the way, loser 💀😂

nimrod doesn't really have a sub in this kind of deck, he's one of the main wincons
nimrod is a must card but nico is just to destroy and provide card draw

You won’t have Shuri every time though. And when you don’t, Attuma is the next best option.
