The scar is actually a light gun, I shot my neighbor's. which is the fn scar 17s which is supposedly longer than what is in the game and it weighs pretty okay. somewhere around 9 - 10 lb with optics and ammo. and 8 lb by itself. whereas the g3 is steel, its gonna be heavier.
I have one, actually. The civilian 17s has a 16” barrel and is very light. I have an 18” barrel FAL as well.
The recoil between the two are very similar. The 17 may actually be slightly less. But, that’s using the factory muzzle brake on the 17. It is extremely controllable and low recoil for a .308. Especially for how light it is. If I were using a flash hider, it wouldn’t be as docile.

My friends dad who was in the Iranian military which is mandatory. He said he carried the g3 and it’s heavy as fuck lol.
@@marshallmaia8130 I can imagine. I haven’t shot or handled a g3 but the FAL is heavy as a mf and it’s a full sized battle rifle the same as the g3. The FAL makes me appreciate my scar more. And my AR’s even more than that. 🤣

The Scar H is my favourite gun in Battlefield. I'll be damned if I can find the gun in Sandstorm.
It might be a good gun but you def need to change your attachments homie you don’t need a recoil grip to use the scar bro
G3 is my jam always will be. So crisp and I love the sound unsuppressed
The scar is pretty sweet. It's got a lot of kick, but if you can control it the thing shreds.

I personally like the G3 better due to the slower rate of fire.
It's easier for me to control in full auto, and also I don't even need to switch to single fire, just tap the trigger and it only fires one round.
But the supressor is indeed a plus on the MK 17.
G3 had a longer barrel so the rounds travel faster

It's very weak compared to the other 7.62 guns. I dont think this gun even 1 shots people at certain distances. It does have very low recoil and its 3 points.
3 points but unless you want to run out of ammo quickly you’ll have to pay extra for the extended mags. Essentially a 5 point gun. Wish it one shotted up to 30m. Give it the option to be viable with extended mags.
This game is really good. I'm so glad people still make games like this. We need more of them. I just wish games like this were available on console. I'm pretty sick of the fast paced arcadey shooters that have weightless characters that can mantle at 100 mph while shooting and fastening their shoelaces. I'm not sure if I'm getting a next generation console. But if I do then I will buy this and Hell Let Loose. But in all honesty I'd rather make the switch to PC. As I'd love to play games like this and the highly underrated Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. I've been watching that game and it's bloody brilliant.

don't understand when they say that this is not realistic, only because it is a little bit more frantic than squad and eft, IMO the screams, the gore, the tike to kill, gun sounds, environnements,ismc mode

Scar is underpowered like a mofo in Insurgency. Almost always 2 hit kill. It has a better hip fire that's about it.
The SCAR is my favorite in all real world shooters.
I love the how the ads zoom in the scope is closer than the outside of the scope. Wish we got this effect on console.
I don't think console support multi thread rendering. Essentially everything seen in the scope has to rendered a second time and the lighting recalculated. Its pretty performance heavy too
The G3 feels great but I also really like the extended magazine on the mk17

I have been playing on your ismc PVP public server and it has been really fun! I just wish that it was push rather than frontline.
What I use the most
1. Scar 17
2. G36
3. MK18
I own a Scar 17 in FDE with an Elcan Specter DR 1.5×4 optic. I forget the name of the optic in the game. Which is how I run it in game. I don't own a silencer however. And I won't put available peq15's on it as it will destroy the thing. The recoil is a little high in game. I shoot pretty fast with mine in real life. The recoil without the real life factory PWS break muzzle device does noticeably change the recoil though. I use a Surefire 3 prong flash hider on mine. I have never shot a select fire Scar 17 so I can't speak on the feel in automatic.
I have a Colt Sopmod Block ll MK18 as well with an Eotech EXPS3 no magnifier though. Also no silencer. Its pretty spot on to the game. I rarely shoot it however as my Scar 17 is my primary weapon system.
I do not own a HK G36 nor the T36 by Tommy Built Tactical. Maybe one day.

This game is garbage on the Xbox it crashes and plays horrible it glitches and the textures load while you play and often my gun won’t be available at all or the optic will be missing etc I’ve asked Microsoft for a refund and have been denied I’m furious mad
Absolutely hate the scar. Big, bulky, slow, ugly asf. Happy to hear that the American Special Forces hates them as well and hardly uses them for those same reasons lol

I'm the same, awful aim, but good tactical decisions see me capping objectives and getting those offensive/defensive kills, putting me at the top of the board, whilst negative K/D
Your situational awareness is top notch and definitely what counts in sandstorm.

I prefer bolt action rifles because they take precision, and I like to hunt my enemies. But if I had to go with an automatic rifle in IS, I'd go with the G3.

Hey Karma, just wanted to say love your videos, always putting out great content. Are you into shooting guns IRL? I am looking to either build/buy my next rifle and was definitely thinking something in 7.62 NATO, like a SCAR or Galil.
Galil scar is ridiculously finicky and you’ll be paying for it. If you got the money go scar but yeah I’d go galil

the only difference in this game is the intense violence, besides, there is no land vehicle, much less air vehicle, linear map, bad graphic, what is so good about this game.
The fact that it’s not Cod, Battlefield or Tarkov makes it 10000x better than most games

Vou responder tuas críticas:
1 - O modo que ele jogou (Frontline) não tem veículo terrestre, porém Push tem para os atacantes.
2 - O jogo não foi feito pra ser jogado numa escala gigante onde os conflitos são realizados em áreas muito abertas, então não tem sentido ter veículos aéreos, pra isso existem os apoios que pode chamar por rádio como Artilharia de fumaça, explosiva ou de gás, barragem de mísseis, helicópteros, etc, que lhe ajudam a zonear um objetivo, seja pra capturar ou defender.
3 - Não sei onde que viu os mapas sendo lineares sendo que ele jogou somente 1 deles e mesmo assim existiam diversas rotas e abordagens que ele poderia tomar pra avançar, seja sozinho ou em conjunto, existem mapas onde existem mais de 4 rotas pra avançar, sendo que os outros jogos normalmente lhe proporcionam somente 3 ou menos rotas. Por uma questão de filosofia do jogo, só verificar o COD mesmo, geralmente fazem os mapas pensando em 3 rotas, o CS e Valorant também.
4 - O gráfico não é ruim, não adianta se basear por um video de youtube, tu não sabe em qual qualidade ele roda o game e também tem a questão que o youtube reduz a qualidade dos videos, não é nativo, fora que pode haver compressão por parte do programa que ele grava as gameplays.
E as qualidades do jogo que se destacam perante os outros:
- O design de som dos tiros, armas, suportes aéreos, etc, é o melhor que existe em FPS, não tem discussão nisso.
- Detalhes nas armas e nos cenários, e pequenos detalhes como recarga de 2 fases, cápsulas fazendo barulho quando caem, ricochetes, entre outros.
- PvE que por mais que tenha falhas é o melhor que tem em FPS mais realista, os outros jogos sequer tem esse modo, inclusive eles tem vários modos dedicados para PvE.
- Chat de voz com base na localização, sair no trash talk com um inimigo que tá querendo capturar um ponto onde tu tá ou poder ouvir o que eles tão cochichando no rádio é uma interação interessante e as vezes hilária.
- Gunplay e impacto dos tiros, é satisfatório atirar e conseguir uma kill no jogo, ninguém é de ferro e até um HS de 100m com uma pistola 9mm vai matar.

Run the Scar 17 on semi-auto with an
Elcan 1.5 - 6x and canted red dot Leupold DDP or RMR. You need to use comms more with your team. Squad up!

I always put a acog on it and use it like a sniper 95% of the time its gonna be a 1 shot
Scar doesn't OS in sandstorm. Its barrel length is pretty smol, which makes it weak in comparison to other 7.62 rifles.
If you want long range 1 shot, you need to look at the FAL, M14 and M110. Those are the only 7.62x51mm that retain 1 shot over distance. (40-80 meters IIRC, depending on armor and weapon)

Try it without the grip but with the 4x plus red dot. The extra zoom is really good for the longer range shots.
Without the recoil grip it's hard to recommend that gun
I just purchased this game. It’s extremely glitchy for me. I’ve played a total of 1 hour and the game crashed 3 times.
Is this happening to anyone else?
I'm experiencing crashes on PS4 quite often as well.
But for some reason now it's only happening on co-op for me. When I play PvP, the game doesn't crash.
