Probably the only supergroup that actually lived up to the title on record and live - saw them twice and they were incredible. Four of the best rock albums of the last decade too!
i met him after one of his shows last year and when he came out from the theater he had on a hat and coat like everyone else, one would almost not recognize him. very mellow guy. great player!
This is everything that Rock N' Roll should be; churning, grinding & clanking, heavy and hard; one of the greats, and with much more: a TRUE Living Legend of Rock.....
Yeah I second that!!! Bloody amazing that you too focus on 2 of the best rock songs ever. Mississippi Queen is exceptional. Only criticism? It's short. But oh my, played live, so much potential to extend it and improvise!
One of the best voices in rock history! Incredible bass player too, much underrated (pick and all)! Props to these guys for forming another "super" group. I'd love to see these guys tour with Chickenfoot!
Joe is so versatile it is unreal and Glenn is the undoubtable voice of rock..geeze..clear from the days of Trapeze and still rocking hard. Getting better all the time like fine aged wine.
Glenn Hughes keeping his voice on point, despite Joe Bonamossa's WAY too loud (but still awesome) guitar, is a wonder. Amazing. So glad it was captured !
awsome Im glad I have this cd joe amazing yet looking at him its not what one would expecy he seems like an average guy you would find working in a hardware store but on stage thats a new story much respect
Joe and Glenn what can you say? I grew up with Led Zep how did I live 55 years and am just finding these guys. CD is on the way....f*** i love these guys
Does no one know who that is with the sticks? Jason Bonham. His dad just happens to be the great John Bonham who was the drummer for Led Zeppelin. Greatest of all time.
@bayoubengal1961 That is great man.. At times Hughes' Vioce can seem effortless and is what a rock singer should sing like, but i thought at times especially at High voltage the sound wasn't' great.. But still Hughes remains an inspiration for me as an artist..
It really is a great comparison...they are both just about as good as one can be at this type of thing. Either one of them can bring 60,000 people to their feet, or to their knees, with a guitar and some (ok, a lot of..) sound equipment. Wouldn't you like to see a "cutting match" between the two of them, for, like, 20 hours?
@Aerodude23 Slash began as more of a blues guitarist also, js. Still ur right because Joe learned a bunch of other stuff when he was younger as oposed to Slash
nothing wrong with SLASH at all but in the contrary. Please remember he did come up with gigantic songs/guitar play - and YES Bonamassa is a fine player for sure - just different style. I hate the SLASH hat myself - so what !
Joe is a better guitar player than just about anyone short of the absolute top of the top (VanHalen / G Moore / Satch / Vai / W Haynes / ANY of 'em), and he'd give all of 'em a run for their money...Ya wouldn't stand a chance at "Jam Nite" at your local bar, although he seems such a decent sort that he'd probably take it easy on you, not try to make a fool out of ya...
Joe and slash are both amazing guitarist but honestly joe just blows slash out of the water. Slash is good but joe just takes guitar playing to beyond its limits.
have to say slash is my favourite guitarist but i came away from high voltage with joe bonamassa being the best of the whole weekend imo. id heard bcc were good but they were amazing
How the fuck can you compare them??? Their playing is just too different! I like them both... but to the fact slash inspired me to start playing the guitar I like him more.
Slash and Joe have different styles of playing.. Joe is blues and Saul is more 80's rock.. Joe plays more cleaner than Slash's fuzzyness.. I actually thought that BCC eren't all they were hyped up to be.. I thought Priest were better at High Voltage..
lol, your comparing a Jitterbug to an Iphone 5. I think the only person that plays the blues on a LP like JB has died. R.I.P Gary Moore. Other than that, I really don't think that anyone can touch him.
I am 37 years old and I wish I would live long enough to witness how much Glenn Hughes will be rocking when he's 150.
I can't imagine a world without Glenn Hughes in it!
Now you are 38...what now...
Just saw him play about a month ago and he killed it!
Probably the only supergroup that actually lived up to the title on record and live - saw them twice and they were incredible. Four of the best rock albums of the last decade too!
One of the best voices in rock history! Incredible bass player too, much underrated (pick and all)!
A melhor.
At that time Glenn was 58 yo. He's still amazing. His voice gives me chills.
You and I both
Guys a fn legend!
Man what a voice remember him from the deep purple days. Love this group
i met him after one of his shows last year and when he came out from the theater he had on a hat and coat like everyone else, one would almost not recognize him. very mellow guy. great player!
This is everything that Rock N' Roll should be; churning, grinding & clanking, heavy and hard; one of the greats, and with much more: a TRUE Living Legend of Rock.....
Glenn Hughes is like wolverine,he ages in a long period...!!! LONG LIVE rock'n roll and Black Country Communion...!!! \m/
Possibly the hardest rockin' tune since Mississippi Queen.
Yeah I second that!!! Bloody amazing that you too focus on 2 of the best rock songs ever. Mississippi Queen is exceptional. Only criticism? It's short. But oh my, played live, so much potential to extend it and improvise!
One of the few real supergroups. Reunion please!!!!!
I thought I see somewhere that might be a reality !!
in January they will be back. confirmed by Hughes and Bonamassa
Done! 😊
@@TomAxl22 kkkkkk
Never should have stopped. This is pure magic. The writing would have only gotten better.
Had to come here to hear JoeBon blow me away once again!
One of the best voices in rock history! Incredible bass player too, much underrated (pick and all)! Props to these guys for forming another "super" group. I'd love to see these guys tour with Chickenfoot!
Amazing song by an amazing band. Glenn Hughes is the greatest of all time!
Thank you
These guys are SICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably the best band I've heard in the past four years.
WTG Glenn...........well played Lad.
Joe is so versatile it is unreal and Glenn is the undoubtable voice of rock..geeze..clear from the days of Trapeze and still rocking hard. Getting better all the time like fine aged wine.
Holy crap this is good I'm glad they're back!👍😀
This video is 12 years old. The amazing thing is that in 20 years from now Glenn Hughes will sound even better than this.
brutal... y con clase. 30 años de rock and roll en 4 minutos
ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE THIS SONG LIVE......TOTALLY PERFECT O-MUNDO......GREAT BAND....
Dobry stary rock,i jeszcze w lepszym wykonaniu.Cieszę się że tacy muzycy są wśród nas...
fantastic song
Glenn Hughes keeping his voice on point, despite Joe Bonamossa's WAY too loud (but still awesome) guitar, is a wonder. Amazing. So glad it was captured !
At 61. Glenn Hughes is a great bass player and vocalist........and has probably appeared on stage longer than you've been alive.
Nice quality upload!
Glenn still sounds amazing!!!
awesome, love it and miss you !!!!!!!!!!!
Picture and Audio Quality is fantastic
Was proudly there!!
Defo their best song
awsome Im glad I have this cd joe amazing yet looking at him its not what one would expecy he seems like an average guy you would find working in a hardware store but on stage thats a new story much respect
That voice...incredible
The voice of rock!
Glenn IS the teacher to learn from! killer
Joe and Glenn what can you say? I grew up with Led Zep how did I live 55 years and am just finding these guys. CD is on the way....f*** i love these guys
So amazing 3 guys can generate that much energy!🔥🤘👍
That’s 4 guys…
@@rainbowroom2010 Yah but nobody counts the keyboard player. 😂
Does no one know who that is with the sticks? Jason Bonham. His dad just happens to be the great John Bonham who was the drummer for Led Zeppelin. Greatest of all time.
What if I may ask has Slash got to do with this band or Video?
Great Band Period, enjoy the music.
@bayoubengal1961 That is great man.. At times Hughes' Vioce can seem effortless and is what a rock singer should sing like, but i thought at times especially at High voltage the sound wasn't' great.. But still Hughes remains an inspiration for me as an artist..
He is doing his job..He is the FRONT MAN !! Call it what you want but I call it forty plus years of living it.
Definitely a great band... Glen Hughes just keeps on doing it..
I love that singer!!!
It's Glen Hughes
Bonamassa playing in a more modern hard rock style is very cool. More used to seeing him play blues and bluesy classic rock most of the time.
These guys have to get back together they could have been huge!
They are.
I love Joe bonnamassa’s playing, but I’ve only just realised who he sounds like/ inspired by, John McLaughlin from the mahavishnu orchestra
Tengo unos años de escucharla cada que hago un brindis y creo que me gusta más.
of course!
Yeess! They're com back!!!
Как же это круто! \m/
VERRRY NIIIIICE!
Classic!
BBC is WORLD class!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It sounds like classic Deep Purple In Rock. QUALITY
meravigliosi

grandioso como siempre, no me canso de decirlo. vozarron que tiene!!
sOLO UNA ÚLTIMA ALMA
Joe seems to be really enjoying not singing and just being able to lay into the groove on this one.
Gotta love Joe's ball hat/tan pants outfit haha. No matter how many Eric Johnson lines he plays won't justify that haha.
That's exactly what I thought... Great combo, haha!!!
@Aerodude23 Slash began as more of a blues guitarist also, js. Still ur right because Joe learned a bunch of other stuff when he was younger as oposed to Slash
Freaking Bad Ass!!!
PURE FUCKING CLASS!!
Fucking awesome song!
Dont forget Glen is the major producer of these songs, not Joe. You cannot compare guitarists, they have major influences no matter what genre.
waouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Let's hear your version ..;-)
amazin
Sorry BCC is WORLD class!!!!
:-)
Glen rocks.
Fcking tight!
Glenn es extraterrestre.
Der Bass auch an? 😉
no way! Slash is King!
Yes this is a super group love Joe's blues but this is so much better pure rock.
Some of Glenn's best work is with BCC. Same for Bonamassa.
Anyone else think that Joe, Slash, Rick Nielson, and a bunch of others should all get together and make a "Guitar Gods" album of some sort?
Rick Niellson is a great guy but not really a guitar player's guitar player if you catch my drift.
The Brothers Gurn
For me Slash does have more feel. And that's, in my opinion, is more important!
I guess you never seen slash live.
@Aerodude23 Slash is 80's Rock??? REALLY?? You needed to State the obvious huh... Well Good for you!!
Slash just did a couple songs and no more, Brian Robertson from Thin Lizzy play this way 10 years before...
SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe is like a Rolls Royce engine inside a van.
I like it but it sounds a bit like Tony Iommi doing Nugent's "Stranglehold."
+jerky2112 Not really

1:34 LOL
;D
I know this is an opinion thing, But you should check out Song of Yesterday, That one is pretty B.A IMO.
Bonamassa??versatile and technical...nothing more!!!

@modalconfusion Slash is no twit but I can't dispute your assessment of talent. Slash = Epic but Joe > Slash.
Joe is just soooo much better a guitarist than the top hatted twit Slash.
trying to steal the lead guitarist's thunder much?
It's Glenn fucking Hughes.
Joe should learn from Glenn about how to move on stage. Glenn is on FIRE !
Always liked Slash but it's not even close man. Technically and musically, Joe blows him away.

@modalconfusion Slash is so lame. The new GnR blows the old out the water. Check them out from rock n rio
Great song kinda sounds like Stranglehold by Ted Nugent
