Succumb became my partner and I's song, because we only get to meet in person a few times a year. We intend and plan on living closer one day, but it's still uncertain exactly when, so we long for each other a lot. This song has really helped me through the times when my hope and resolve breaks, and fears and catastrophizing threaten to pull me under the waves.
At times my heart turns to Despair, saying in exasperation amidst uncertainty: "Magnificent beast, come consume me"
But in the end, there's always the refrain:
The howl of the wind will sing me to sleep
The breath of the cold won't devour me

Calling the chaos my home

Yeah you kind of preaching to the choir no she is the wow-man she is great I almost blew up on some guy for some reactor said band had eye candy it's like no she is the band. The band loves her and loves her orchestrations I agree they crazy good so good band blends great great chemistry and good friends we have solid band for years yes finally.

I was planning on seeing Seven Spires twice last year and both shows were canceled, so it's awesome to be able to see these videos :)
Update: I was able to see them with Eluveitie and Omnium Gatherum and had a blast!

As far as I am concerned, this is your signature track.
It has everything: screaming, melodic vocals, awesome power metal style guitar, great lyrics, empowering emotion and melody, it is just perfect!

May be one of my favorite songs by y’all. I especially like the timing relation between the drums and vocals at times where it feels ones in strait 4/4 and the other is this 6/8 ish feel with the triplet runs. Makes for a cool effect.

With a couple exceptions in the style of Disney refrains, this song sounds so European.... I would've never espected to hear this kind of metal sound from an American band. 👏💪

Adrienne has the most beautiful yet haunting voice I have ever heard. Definitely one of the best metal vocalists that has ever lived. I got to meet seven spires once and see them in concert twice now. I hope they come to Sioux Falls soon.
