Michelangelo was a genius no doubt, but just looking at the drawings you can tell he spent his life studying and practicing for the BIG pieces. Bravo.

Fascinating! I need to visit! Didn’t know this show was on - it’s not difficult to understand why Bacon admired these drawings.
