Ana, you really need to be better at naming your variables and get some structure on that code, it is utterly horrible to look at, read and everything that goes with that (i would get fired for trying to push code like this). Thats an easy thing to be be better at, i made a much cleaner version of your code with a single javascript object which handles everything perfectly. Howeever, i really admire your math and approach i could not have done this on my own with the time it took me watching your video, thanks a lot for that :) also subbed
I disagree. I don't need to do anything. I love the way I'm naming variables and the way I'm structuring my code. In general and here in particular. It's beautiful to look at, super easy to write and to understand - I wrote this 3 years ago and still makes perfect sense now at first sight. So no, I'm not changing anything - it's already perfect and I'm not going to start writing code that I hate and doesn't make sense to me just to please anyone else.
@@anatudor Im sure you love it, i also loved it when i were lawless programmer who just did whatever i did without any standards.. honestly i thought it was because you were just doing tutorials.. if this is really how you code you should be embrassed, its not at all perfect. we write code to be readable what you did here is a mess in the professional world we call it spagetti... this would never be accepted at any job i have ever had as a programmer where there are code reviews...
@@hyiping5926 This is really how I code and I shouldn't be embarrassed, I should be proud. Which I am. Proud, that is. I don't give rat's ass what you or anyone else thinks about it. It's perfectly readable to me. And if anyone has a different opinion, I can explain exactly where and how they should shove it because I'm not interested in hearing it.
@@hyiping5926 You did not make any correction. You wanted to impose your arbitrary way of coding on me and insisted on that even as I told you I'm not interested in hearing about it. I don't hate you, I just don't care what you think. Clear?
This is great. Thank you for the time you put in. This is still relevant 2 years later :)
Coding straight *in* codepen . Not bad.
I usually lift the code there when done
Thanks for posting this video. Well explained and easy to follow.
i found you on codepen you are very good ! thanks for marking las islas malvinas as part of S.America
Perfect for my usecase! Thank you.

I feel dumb while watching this video and self centered while typing this comment
