Very colorful!❤ I have to purge every once in awhile. Too much shtuff makes me anxious and kind of paralyzes me, creatively. I’m all over the map for stories and cohesiveness. Some days it’s all about order, some days, not.
Awesome glue book session! I love hearing root stories! That way, I know what to pray about for you! It's relaxing watching you work your glue book! Thank you for sharing! God bless! Love hugs and prayers my friends! ❄️😇❤️🤗🙏❄️
I collect a lot of ephemera and things to create the journal book. Then life happens and I seem to have no time to create whatever it was going to be🤷♀️! Someday I’ll have fun making some journals and glue books😊! Love the glue pages that you worked on and thanks for having us along 😁! Take care 🙏🏻🤗💕 !
I love any kind of glue booking;))) I haven't tried using a bigger book-- but I am hoping Santa will bring me one from my Amazon list ;))) I tend to do a lot of tearing out of magazine pages; then either square cutting or fussy cutting. When I have a lot of things prepped, then I glue. And I often just put one thing on a spread and then move onto another page and come back when I find a suitable item that fits...such fun--thanks for sharing your great page. Hugs, Julierose🥰
Hello Elizabeth, I enjoyed watching you have fun with your Big Glue Book. Your comment brought a giggle when you said, "Let's see what the neighbors are doing." Cause I kinda do the same. Anywho, I'm proud of you about being 'brave' and going out of your comfort zone as you do your walking. I know what you mean, because I do the same. I have problems with my knees and sciatica. I have a nice little neighborhood where my son moved to. I had asked him to go with me to see if I could make it on my own, the first time around. I started going on my own, but along came that uncertainty. I take a walking stick with me to help me feel balanced and secure. Enjoy your walks and your art journaling ❣️
My glue books are whatever I feel like doing. I like doing Texas pages. I live in Texas and get a lot of fun images related to Texas. And, I may do a spread based on cigars since my husband gets cigar catalogues and buys cigars now and then. There are some nice images related to cigar brands. But, I’ll do mixed image spreads with whatever is pleasing to my eye. I do what you do… audition pieces, lay down some larger background images, add more smaller images, add words. Sometimes I’ll add paint, markers, washi tape.
Yes I gather a lot of stuff and then sometimes don't know how to use a lot of it to make it look like i vision.
Totally understand! Be well 🕊️
