I think that village on the shoulder was simply going to be another Homs colony separate from 6 and 9. There were originally nine of them, after all. It's close to where the High Entia live, and they do have a tradition of the emperor taking a Homs bride, so where better to get said Homs brides than from a nearby Homs colony? Especially since there are no Homs in Eryth Sea. I don't imagine the High Entia went all the way to the lower colonies and kidnapped a few women without making their presence know to the colonies.

"You gotta make everything M-rated because that makes it instantly better" Sadly, my brother won't even touch Nintendo stuff (and calls it 'childish crap') because it lacks the edginess of other IPs and companies. I always tell him to have an open mind, and to give them a try, but he is far too stubborn. He completely ignores critical acclaim and sales numbers; he just focuses on the rating and the aesthetics. He says that the DS line 'is for babies', despite overwhelming evidence to the opposite case being true, and he refuses to play fantastic game series like Legend of Zelda and Mario just because of preconceived notions around their 'intended age'. So yes, I know that far too well. Utterly frustrating, it is. Though my 14-year-old bro is also very close-minded when it comes to stuff like food or going out for lunch as a family - he has an extremely small diet (he won't touch most fruit and veg or yogurt or cheese, and he will only eat plain Margarita pizzas; if a dish he would've liked has herbs and the like, he won't even touch it either), and refuses to go out, because of laziness and unreasonable unwillingness. He also avoids other fantastic, non-Nintendo PC games (where he spends the majority of the time nowadays) like Portal and Deus Ex. Instead, he spends all his time on Minecraft servers and CS:GO while on Skype. Utterly vexing and completely frustrating.
Reyn x Sharla is honestly the only shipping I like from this game Why? Fiora x Shulk would have worked if we had more time with Fiora before she became a Mechon, them just telling us how much Shulk cared about her just didn't work for me, then Melia x Shulk felt like it existed just to kick Melia while she was down With Reyn x Sharla it just felt good because you see them meet and their relationship blossoms throughout the game
***** No I'm serious; I think they would make a good pair. Both of them are very mature and understand how the world works. Additionally, both of them have lost people important to them, whether it be by betrayal or death. Both of them act as the voice of reason to the rest of the group, and they are the two oldest members (besides riki). It's really interesting to watch their relationship growing in the heart-to-hearts even though they basically have nothing before that.
Coming back to this video after having explored every inch of Future Connected, its kinda wild how exact the transition is for the majority of the areas of Bionis' Shoulder. I think the extent of the changes were of course the treasure chests being missing in some places and replaced by Giants' Troves in others, but more notably the caves, which got their own individual identities instead of all being copies of each other Edit: a glaring difference is of course, Gran Dell itself being practically a ghost town and having a lake nearby that seems to be missing in the beta. Oops...
Oh, and the houses being Giant's Ruins? Agni's name being dropped everywhere in Bionis' Shoulder locations seems to have confirmed that, seeing as his tomb in Makna seem to be Giant's Ruins themselves
I'm pretty sure the colony on the Bionis Shoulder that Chugga thought used to be colony 6 was actually colony 1 Seeing as the bionis shoulder is the place of the cutscene where the Homs first appear. Also the houses look old enough to warrant as much. As for Dickson saying that they should "pull back to colony 6" I think he was origionaly going to say "Pull back to colony 1" but seeing as the shoulder area got cut in the end they changed his line.
So I just found an interview you did with WIRED. And holy guacamole, that last part (prepare to find me a weakling) brought tears to my eyes. I'll copy and paste it: _“They’ll say, oh, this video only got 100 views,” he says. “That’s huge! Imagine you’re standing on a pedestal with 100 people listening to what you have to say about a videogame. That’s awesome.”_ I have a video channel as well (which I won't say because I am not going to advertise), which has about 90 subs. And thinking that those videos don't get that much likes (according to my friends), this made me applaud you. You are such a nice person. You gave Stephen a freaking Wii U, gave fans Xenoblade Chronicles copies, I have seen you respond to multiple comments (even though you're this famous YTer, YTers with your amount of subs normally don't respond at all), you collab a lot, you hold contests for people, just... IF the video channel I am part of reaches the same amount of subs as you, in the extremely freaking small chance it has, I will surely see you as an example, and won't shy away from saying so. I'm eating Dorito's while watching the vlog by Stephen at your house (That was 2 years ago?! Also, I'm such a nerd for eating Dorito's while watching YT...) so I am holding up a Dorito while I'm pressing 'Send' (not even joking). Cheers to you, my friend (hopefully you see me as a friend too **cries**) Emile Rosales! EDIT: Wow, this came over so beggy. I swear, I wasn't asking for likes, love or responses. I was only sharing my thoughts.
Actually, Chugga, I'm to believe that there was some sort of aerial transport used by the Homs with going in between Sword Valley and Colony 6. It is said, when the gang is going to the Valak Mountain area for the first time (After the events of Prison Island), that, if Colony 6 were in better shape, they could use their "transport pods" to get there (to Sword Valley). I think that the one area in Colony 6 about pods is what's being described there. Before they go to Satorl Marsh, Dickson says he's one of the only Homs who's ever gone there or beyond, so it's likely that transportation in the war was directly from Colony 6 to Sword Valley, via the aforementioned pods. So that would be why they're going straight from Sword Valley to Colony 6 as Dickson says in the prologue, rather than all the way through Valak Mountain, Makna Forest, Bionis Interior, and Satorl Marsh to get there.
OH MY GOD THEY'RE REMAKING THIS GAME IN GLORIOUS 1080PENIS. AND THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED BIONIS SHOULDER!!!!!!! WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Hello people of 2015, I have come baring news 6 years into the future that the Bionis shoulder does in fact come back in a port of the game. Xenoblades has become a bit more popular since this time. Oh and theirs a pandemic going on right now, and bunch of other horrible stuff but that isn’t relevant right now.
man watching this episode while actually playing through the bionis' shoulder in future connected in the xc1 definitive edition is kinda surreal. knowing that at one point this was all just unused is kinda wild and gives me a greater appreciation that it was added back in so many years later.
The bionis shoulder and Tyrea’s mask are both in Future Connected which is great! It’s great to see it after 10 years since the development in that game.
I'm surprised you didn't touch on the after-the-final-boss-version of Colony 9. As far as I know, it is also a fully explorable map (as is the title screen).
It’s great to see the original Bionis Shoulder after having played Future Connected. Seeing how the map changed to be playable and make sense in the time FC takes place is super interesting
I think it’s more likely that Colony 6 was supposed to exist along side the walled city at the same time, and that in the intro Dickson would say they’re pulling the line back to *insert whatever the official city name would’ve” been. It would be much easier to just rerecord Dickson’s one line than move an entire city’s purpose across the Bionis.
I personally think that the Bionis Shoulder would have housed a colony, but not colony 6. One to kinda debunk the whole going through multiple areas to get to Colony 6, Dunban visited these areas for the first time when Shulk did based on having no prior knowledge of some of these areas, only Dickson has. Also though Sword Valley directly connects to the right arm, it also connects to the Chest of the Bionis via the tip of the sword, which isn't far from Colony 6 and transports were likely used to carry mass amounts of supplies and troops and these transports can indeed fly. Reveled in a heart to heart between Dunban and Melia at the black wreckage, Mumkhar actually came from a colony that was destroyed long ago, which was likely going to be located on the shoulder, and what the "Colony 6" reconstruction mechanic was going to be used for. This makes even more sense when finding out that the fortifications around Colony 6 were Mechon made, since why would the Mechon completely lay waste to the structures inside the area that they fortified. It is my belief that when the Bionis Shoulder was scraped that they moved the rebuilding mechanic to colony 6 and quickly made the edit of the surrounding with the fully reconstructed Colony 6 originally being just regular old Colony 6 that was unlocked after the events of the Ether Mines.
The story said Colony 6 and 9 are the only homs colony left, nopon have Makna, High entia have the head and Machina and Mechon have Mechonis. Arglas seems the most likely candidate unless The dev team were making a new species that isn't too important and are Shulk sized-ish. besides the shoulder isn't finished so the houses could have been improved
I'm sorry chugga but blame your luck/timing. "So I'm going to just stick this here because I can't think of a better place to stick it." A moment later picks up a tasty sausage.
"I wonder what it would be like if I were a guy" "Then Gadolt would be just a friend" i mean i yall coulda still been together we acceptin here on Bionis
It’s interesting coming back to this after definitive edition and seeing things like gran dell just be referred to as the walled off city and wondering what it is
I definetly agree on it being a Homs Colony. Because of one reason: The High Entia Bloodline. So wait, there are two Homs settlements left period, and all knowledge of the High Entia seems to be gone, if you don't count Dickson, who I'm not sure is a Homs. But somehow, Homs are very mixed into the royal bloodline, at least as recently as Melia's birth, around 90 years ago. Therefore, wouldn't it make sense for a long abandoned Colony to have existed there?
Ooh, I love stuff like this! Unused items, scrapped ideas, stuff that didn't make it past beta. It's just really cool seeing the game beneath the immediate surface. I'm not very good with researching this kind of information so it's always interesting seeing someone else talk about it, especially from you since it's your favorite game of all time.
I think Melia and Riki's addition to the party was also effected by Bionis Shoulder getting cut. Did anyone else find it odd that after getting Melia, you immediately get Riki? Like you don't even get a chance to get used to Melia because it takes like 20 minutes to get Riki after getting Melia. Maybe Melia was meant to join on the Shoulder or maybe it was Riki who joined there.
Omg you have no idea how long I've been waiting for this series to be over like I was a little late to the party so I couldn't get in TO it and now I can't wait for the next one to start, I hope everyone who did watch all of this series and is now playing the game had a blast and I can't wait to see what's in your future mister Emile
Chugga I want you to know that you make life better for me and others. I was never really into some of the games you showed us, but not only do I love them now, but whether I like them or not, I'd still watch these playthrough's. You bring the games to life and inspire people. I hope you reply to this since your videos are amazing but since apparently your moving and there's other people who love you, I still hope you see this.
Hooray! It's great to see this in video form at long last! I'd really love to populate the shoulder area with monsters and NPCs and stuff someday. Just seems like it'd be a fun challenge!
THANK YOU. You probably won't believe me but you are the person that inspired me to do youtube videos ever since I saw your first picmin episode and for 2 years I thought you were the only person that existed on youtube and I said to myself I want to be like him one day and here I am now around 200 videos and 25 subscribers. So THANK YOU YOU ARE THE BEST RUclipsR EVER
I know this series has to come to an end sometime, but I just want to say that I really enjoyed the ride. It was so much fun, a lot of work went into these, and (as I've said in past comments) can't thank you enough for all the hard work you do in keeping us informed. I love talking about beta things or forgotten items etc. I hope I can get a hold of a copy of either the Wii or New 3DS version sometime. I would love to play it and experience it for myself.
Brandon Phillips He did but he landed near the fallen arm (I believe that is what the area is called). Now there is an avaliable Heart to Heart where he died.
I think that the walled city is the old and forgotten Colony 1. I believe this because all of the building are old and mossy. They also look very prehistoric. Also in the end cutscene the homs did originate from the bionis shoulder. One more thing. If there is a colony 9 and 6, where is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8? Maybe even 10?
Akane Kurashiki There is a line right before getting to Valak Mountain that debunks this claim. Sharla says "If Colony 6 was in better shape we could have just taken a pod" refferencing the trip to Sword Valley. The only reason you walk is because Colony 6 is in bad shape.
That's still a long ways away but I get your point. I mean, of course, closest would be Frontier Village, but the Nopon probably wouldn't want to get involved, and neither would the High Entia. The closest Homs settlements would be in Satori Marsh which is still a rather long time away.
Thank you Chugga for covering the Bionis Shoulder I have had problems finding out what the location was exactly and why it was cut and your prediction of it being an earlier version of the colony makes a lot of sense when you explained it with that cut-seen. Thanks a lot Chugga now I can put most of the problem to rest with what it was. ... Though I would really like to get there myself to experience it. The Rune Factory Guy
What a fantastic batch of behind-the-scenes trivia! Although I'm glad that the beta area at least got acknowledged within the finished game through the pictures in Dunban's house, man, I just think Bionis Shoulder could've easily stood out as the definitive location in the game. The scenery with the weird little clay house town is just so beautiful!! Oh my God!! I would've LOVED to see some of this place finished, had they had the time, it would've been awesome!
Hey everyone it's NOT Chuggaaconroy! I just want to comment to let people know that Chuggaaconroy's Twitter page is where you can get updates to his channel. I know that it's been a very long time since his last upload, but please be patient. He finished his work on fighting the Superbosses and is currently in the stages of editing the video. He is working on getting every single Unique Monster killed. And his next LP will be out around the end of May. So to all of those that are impatient, updates are on the way. New content is coming. And to those who question his subscriber count, he works harder than you will EVER work you spoiled brats. I dare you to accomplish what Emile has. That is all.
There’s a book out there that Monolithsoft had a hand in explaining a bunch of stuff about this game. It confirms and denies a bunch of fan theories, including one about the colonies. There were a total of 10, but over the years they were all destroyed besides 6 and....9. God, I never put two and two together on that, that couldn’t have been a mistake! Ah well. Anyway, they survived because of good placement on the Bionis and superior defense, whereas all of the others were destroyed by the Mechon. It seems like the lower numbers are higher in elevation, so the shoulder colony area most likely was 1. This makes even more sense when you consider that the cutscene showing Homs being first created by Zanza is from the shoulder, so they probably would’ve built stuff there first and then worked their way down. I don’t know, that just makes the most sense to me, anyway.
I enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles, don't get me wrong, but I'm so happy it's almost over. This channel has been all Xenoblade for about a year now. A breath of fresh air is definitely welcome. But that's just my opinion. Anyway, complaining aside, I really admire Emile for going through all of this. This game is obviously pretty damn long, so to see him put all this time and effort into showing and telling us everything about it is really amazing. Even if Xenoblade isn't quite my cup of tea, I still enjoyed the ride, and I wouldn't have enjoyed it if it wasn't for Emile. So thank you, for turning what might have been a fun adventure, into what was an incredible one. And incredibly long one, but incredibly fun nonetheless.
I loved watching you do this lets play. I am going to rewatch all the way from episode 1. Please don't stop making lets plays. You are the best youtuber I have found who is excellent at these.
They mention several times throughout the story how sword valley is close to colony 6, but in-game it's about as far as it can possibly be away from colony 6.
Whoa! Now I have more background knowledge of the game. I did actually see the Bionis shoulder when I played through it and now I know why I couldn't got there. Also, when you said "AND ALL SHULK CAN THINK ABOUT IS EATING OFF THE ARMOR THAT EGIL DIED IN!" freaking killed me XD
I swear to god, if we don't get a U.S. release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X soon, my brain is gonna explode, ESPECIALLY after seeing a very certain monster in the new story trailer a week ago....
Well, I see your point on Colony 6 maybe being on the Bionis Shoulder, but there is one plot hole that forms if Colony 6 would be on the shoulder; If the Shoulder connected Makna Forest and Eryth Sea, how would no Homs notice the flying ships and floating city when falling back? Although, falling back all the way back to the real Colony 6 would also have them go through Eryth Sea, but perhaps the Homs used ships to get from the arm to the groin, being a rather short distance if you notice how the Bionis is positioned after the original battle with the Mechonis, where as flying to the LEFT shoulder from the RIGHT arm would be a lot longer. Sure, the Mechon would also have to fly but considering the dropships shown in the invasion on Colony 9, they do have that kind of technology. IDK, but I think I have a point in there.
With xenoblade chronicles 2 being announced not too long ago, we can only hope that we can visit the bionis shoulder in that game, or at least something like it given the ending to this game. Cross your fingers y'all! (No one's gonna see this comment...)
15:50 I like this theory a lot, it makes a lot of sense in almost every aspect. However there’s one other hole I think, but it might not even be a big deal. Sword Valley is connected to the right arm of the Bionis. The Bionis shoulder is the left shoulder. The mechon could basically make their way directly to Colony 9 without going anywhere near Colony 6, so it’s a weird spot to hold your last line of defense. I say it might not mean anything at all, since we know Egils’s plan is to eradicate every life form on Bionis so they’d make their way to both locations anyway but still, it’s pretty odd if they’re trying to defend Colony 9 too. That being said, whatever it was, it is now Future Connected and I love it so much.
SoaringSalamanders It will be years before he LP's it, that game is like 300 hours long, it took him like a year to plan this game which is about 100 hours
That has been quite a trip on memory lane, still hard to believe its been a decade ago, it was great as I remember. On to Interlude between this and Mario & Luigi.
I know this video was made over a year ago, but for anyone who might be perusing the comments section: What's your Xenoblade ship? Mine's Melia and Dunban.
11:05 Didn't I find a Ponspector there or something? Gran Dell sure has changed a lot, but it's still very recognizable. This is my third time watching this video, and it's even more interesting after finishing Future Connected. I hope you enjoyed it, Chugga!
It's so cool to see what the shoulder was meant to be ten years ago, after getting the chance to play a shiny new version of it. Gran Dell seems to be the most significant change, along with landmark names, that make it explicitly the old home of the Giants... but I'm not so sure that's the old shoulder was meant to be. Regardless, though FC isn't as good as the main game, it'd be nice if this series got resurrected for the new epilogue :)
Hearing you talk about this LP finally coming to an end made me kinda sad. I just finished my own LP of Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, and it was such a bittersweet feeling finally putting it away after that final recording.
My opinion on the city on the bionis shoulder: It's a MUCH older colony, say colony 2, than colony 6 or 9. The place might have been abandoned or repurposed, by another species, but if they got arounf to numbering colonies up to 9, there must have been more, even if they're only ruins today. As for the inconsistency with travelling to Valak mountain, at some point they mention how they used to be able to just "take a pod" over to the sword from
just wondering am i the only person who just hates shipping in general i mean im ok when its cannon and stuff but i hate all the fuss people make about there ships and about all the reasons why it would work i feel like im in the minority here (as i am with most things on the internet)

Overall, future connected doesn’t live up to the rest of the game. And also no visions
@@Zach90888 It dont need to. Its just a little epiloge to finish Melias story nothing more.

Coming back to this video after having explored every inch of Future Connected, its kinda wild how exact the transition is for the majority of the areas of Bionis' Shoulder. I think the extent of the changes were of course the treasure chests being missing in some places and replaced by Giants' Troves in others, but more notably the caves, which got their own individual identities instead of all being copies of each other
Edit: a glaring difference is of course, Gran Dell itself being practically a ghost town and having a lake nearby that seems to be missing in the beta. Oops...
Oh, and the houses being Giant's Ruins? Agni's name being dropped everywhere in Bionis' Shoulder locations seems to have confirmed that, seeing as his tomb in Makna seem to be Giant's Ruins themselves
2020, all the questions we had about the shoulder will finally be answered...
Gran Dell
I'm pretty sure the colony on the Bionis Shoulder that Chugga thought used to be colony 6 was actually colony 1
Seeing as the bionis shoulder is the place of the cutscene where the Homs first appear.
Also the houses look old enough to warrant as much.
As for Dickson saying that they should "pull back to colony 6" I think he was origionaly going to say
"Pull back to colony 1" but seeing as the shoulder area got cut in the end they changed his line.
Chuggaa, you're just as funny as Game Theory. Don't ever think otherwise. :)
wow i feel bad for chugga for getting compared to Game Theory
I know this is really old, but I wanna clarify he said he wasn't as funny as Yuriofwind
Yeah, they both like bad puns too
Whoa, times have changed so much.
This hits different with Mat now passing the torch for his 'retirement' .
So I just found an interview you did with WIRED. And holy guacamole, that last part (prepare to find me a weakling) brought tears to my eyes. I'll copy and paste it:
_“They’ll say, oh, this video only got 100 views,” he says. “That’s huge! Imagine you’re standing on a pedestal with 100 people listening to what you have to say about a videogame. That’s awesome.”_
I have a video channel as well (which I won't say because I am not going to advertise), which has about 90 subs.
The Walled City?
So, Ba Sing Se actually has a distant cousin over on Bionis?Good to know.
Man, I remember when this video first came out. Now I'm rewatching it while playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
It's a wild ride, this passage of fate.
The pod location in Colony 6 that I was talking about is mentioned here: xenoblade.wikia.com/wiki/Pod_Depot
Don't forget, Dickson and Dunban said it was easy to make it to Sword Valley from the Colony
OH MY GOD THEY'RE REMAKING THIS GAME IN GLORIOUS 1080PENIS. AND THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED BIONIS SHOULDER!!!!!!!
WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
1080PENIS! Sorry haha
@@Laniiiiiiiiiii Issue addressed and resolved
ZA WARUDO! TOKYO NO TOREE
Sadly its 720p but it still looks beautiful
Hello people of 2015, I have come baring news 6 years into the future that the Bionis shoulder does in fact come back in a port of the game. Xenoblades has become a bit more popular since this time.
Oh and theirs a pandemic going on right now, and bunch of other horrible stuff but that isn’t relevant right now.
so happy the shoulder got used for future connected
So the shoulder was cut, I see. Did they use a... SHOULDER BLADE?!
Tyrea's Mask is actually used in Future Connected which is pretty cool
man watching this episode while actually playing through the bionis' shoulder in future connected in the xc1 definitive edition is kinda surreal. knowing that at one point this was all just unused is kinda wild and gives me a greater appreciation that it was added back in so many years later.
***** what are you talking about? after you beat the final boss there is new game plus which starts the game over or not save.
Carol Haskins It's called a beta map for a reason.
Carol Haskins He s talking about a cutcene map
Carol Haskins Did you watch the ending? The world got re-done.
That one creepy guy you saw in your roomat night wait nevermind. i read what he said wrong.
Now we can see the Bionis' shoulder in all its glory!
When they pulled back the line to colony 6 they skip traveled
It’s great to see the original Bionis Shoulder after having played Future Connected. Seeing how the map changed to be playable and make sense in the time FC takes place is super interesting
Watching this after playing Future Connected and I'm surprised at how much was changed/added.
It's really impressive how accurately and logically they incorporated every detail of the shoulder into Future Connected
Future connected has confirmed that the Bionis shoulder is indeed were the giants came from and those old houses are indeed giant ruins.
You think that water collision could be the result of the Junks ship? Assuming they planed FC.
If not then that's one hell of a coincidence
Who else came here straight after the Direct?
In Xenoblade Definitive Editon you get the shoulder and the mask is an equipment item
I'm sorry chugga but blame your luck/timing.
"So I'm going to just stick this here because I can't think of a better place to stick it."
A moment later picks up a tasty sausage.
The location of colony 6 was not just in Smash Bros. You can actually see that the colony is situated in that spot durring a few cutscenes.
its been a while but we finally did it
bionis shoulder is here
"I wonder what it would be like if I were a guy"
"Then Gadolt would be just a friend"
i mean i
yall coulda still been together we acceptin here on Bionis
It’s interesting coming back to this after definitive edition and seeing things like gran dell just be referred to as the walled off city and wondering what it is
It was very weird to see nerthis necropolis being just a cave with some crystals
Every video that you make always makes me happy because they are always amazing, thank you for making another amazing video :)
4 years late, but that is actually an interessting question. dickson is a giant,so how can he just transform into a homs?
I find you much more entertaining and funny than Game Theory Chugga! :-D
Gosh, after playing Future Connected, it was really amazing to just see the bionis shoulder's original look
Whoa whoa whoa. Do we really trust Chuggaa with a bonus video? I'm looking at you, Kid Icarus, Okami.
LittleIslander100 And thousands more! No... not really... but still. You get the point.
Oh how this comment has aged...
The developers really gave the Bionis' Shoulder...the cold shoulder.
Wouldn't that be valak mountain?
Hooray! It's great to see this in video form at long last! I'd really love to populate the shoulder area with monsters and NPCs and stuff someday. Just seems like it'd be a fun challenge!
Well then, I guess Reyn time is coming to a close.
Reyn time is never over
Sadly, perhaps. But it can live on through our own playthroughs.
Lachlan Birch I mean for this LP. Reyn time will make a hidden appearance in xenoblade X
***** That is my plan. If you watch Gamexplain's character customization vid you can put scars on the face as well, so it can look more like reyn.
***** But the game already has a space-dunban!
I hope that one of chuggaconroy's LP's in the future will be fire emblem awakening.
This LP was incredible Chugga, I'm glad you did it and I'm glad you enjoyed doing it because I sure as hell loved watching.
I guess the developers didn't want us to stand on the shoulders of giants.
Have we seen the Heart to Heart with Metal Face yet? Wasn't there a Heart to Heart near the wreckage of Metal Face?
***** I always wondered when he was gonna do that one
***** We have not. He said he'll be finishing the Heart to Hearts in the next video, so look forward to that.
Yay! That's the one I'm super excited for.
I thought metal face fell off the side of bionis
Brandon Phillips He did but he landed near the fallen arm (I believe that is what the area is called). Now there is an avaliable Heart to Heart where he died.
It's been 6 years since this playthrough, but holy crap the left shoulder is the main area in Future Connected and it looks amazing.
ClassyDragon They were presumably destroyed by the Mechon.
God damn it, now that you mentioned that Colony 6 is so far from Sword Valley, I'll never un-notice that.
I lost it a 18:45 lol
"A blood pump... Connecting... with ANOTHER BLOOD PUMP!"
sounds like a line from DBZ.
Bionis shoulder looks a lot like primordia.
I honestly can't wait for this series to end, it's been going for too long now.
Adloquium Dubious i can't tell youhow badly i want a Tales of Symphonia lP
Adloquium Dubious It's been a great series but the after game stuff is a little boring besides the unused beta stuff.
Adloquium Dubious I kinda want the series done with too for a new one. I want to see a game that i have not heard of yet.
I really wish I didn't know this existed because now I'll always wish it was finished in game.
JoeBroShow Your wish is Monolith’s command, apparently.

The Funk Pope WE GOT ONE!
GUYS... I AM DISAPPOINTED IN ALL OF YOU.
I AM THE _FUNK_ POPE. NOT THE "AFRO POPE".
Praise Garterbelt from Panty&Stocking!!
They mention several times throughout the story how sword valley is close to colony 6, but in-game it's about as far as it can possibly be away from colony 6.
Since the homs popped up on the shoulder, wouldn’t that be colony 1
I swear to god, if we don't get a U.S. release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X soon, my brain is gonna explode, ESPECIALLY after seeing a very certain monster in the new story trailer a week ago....
telethia? or was that in another trailer? I know it was in one of them.
msslamajama2
Yep, that thing had to be a Telethia in the trailer dedicated to the Story.
Tobi of the Akatsuki i also saw one at the beginning of the trailer from nintendo direct on 14 januari
December 4
oh, this video has aged like fine wine.
Riki's idle animation during Chuggaa's Superboss talk at the end... perfect.
With xenoblade chronicles 2 being announced not too long ago, we can only hope that we can visit the bionis shoulder in that game, or at least something like it given the ending to this game. Cross your fingers y'all!
(No one's gonna see this comment...)
Stolen Catchphrase I saw it
I saw it too!... 11 months later... woo...
Saw it 3 years later.
Chugga, tell me now, are you planning on letsplaying XBCX? I want to know if I should spoil it for myself or wait until you letsplay it
SoaringSalamanders It will be years before he LP's it, that game is like 300 hours long, it took him like a year to plan this game which is about 100 hours
SoaringSalamanders Don't count on it for some time. Chugga likes to know a game inside and out before he LPs it.
MariktheGunslinger yeah, I've noticed that, but I feel too impatient to wait for that long, plus I want to know if he is even thinking about it.
SoaringSalamanders He's going to LP it. Simple as that. But I seriously doubt that it will be in the next 5 years (if he's still doing YT by then)
apparently right now he's working on a lp longer than xenoblade, so maybe
That has been quite a trip on memory lane, still hard to believe its been a decade ago, it was great as I remember. On to Interlude between this and Mario & Luigi.
I know this video was made over a year ago, but for anyone who might be perusing the comments section: What's your Xenoblade ship? Mine's Melia and Dunban.

+Quickman may win Fiora and Riki...
Shulk x Alvis ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Reyn and Sharla
11:05 Didn't I find a Ponspector there or something?
Gran Dell sure has changed a lot, but it's still very recognizable. This is my third time watching this video, and it's even more interesting after finishing Future Connected. I hope you enjoyed it, Chugga!
Uhhhhhhhhhh I wish bionis shoulder was in the game
Same, it's such a beautiful area
Wish no more my friend
WHAT THE FUCK I HAVE NO MEMORY OF WRITING THAT COMMENT
I’m playing Future Connected rn and the shoulder is probably now my favorite area in the game
what happened to colonies1-5 and 6-8
David Jimenez I mean 7 and 8
Probably destroyed by Mechon.
David Jimenez No time to put them in.
David Jimenez Destroyed by the mechon. What do you think Egil had been doing all those years?
Don't ask me I'm not that old!
Thumbs up if you've come back after the release date trailer!
Hearing you talk about this LP finally coming to an end made me kinda sad. I just finished my own LP of Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, and it was such a bittersweet feeling finally putting it away after that final recording.
Who colonized colony 9 and 6???
We have idea of knowing, like sulk said, 100 of years have past
Guy McKissick I'm not really feeling it...
Is it not his time? No wonder he's sulking so much.
:D, you it very sad, to a whole world not being use imagine what other story plots can go their, to me that waste of time and energy
What does Bob have to do with it...
My opinion on the city on the bionis shoulder:
It's a MUCH older colony, say colony 2, than colony 6 or 9. The place might have been abandoned or repurposed, by another species, but if they got arounf to numbering colonies up to 9, there must have been more, even if they're only ruins today.
As for the inconsistency with travelling to Valak mountain, at some point they mention how they used to be able to just "take a pod" over to the sword from
just wondering
am i the only person who just hates shipping in general
i mean im ok when its cannon and stuff but i hate all the fuss people make about there ships and about all the reasons why it would work
i feel like im in the minority here (as i am with most things on the internet)
Mathias Hermann I'm with you there. Shipping Wars have pretty much turned my off shipping for good.
Mathias Hermann yea man no shipping, ebay sucks!
Mathias Hermann I dabble, but i steer clear of shipping wars as well.
Mathias Hermann I'm definitely not one to care much for shipping. I especially hate it when people ship real life people, as it feels like they're just dabbling in those people's affairs...
Duffie Shirayuki shipping in real life is one of the main reasons i hate it
i was a victim
Man, just seeing the shoulder stuff here made me all giddy how they incorporated it all into future connected, including one of the unused items
