Thank you for the tips. I'm looking after my daughter's little mandarin tree in a pot. It produced about twenty mandarins and looks tired. I'm going to follow your tips.
Being in the mid north coast region, my citrus have the opposite problem. My oranges are too sweet that they dont have the acidic level to give the flavour. Mind you, they are right next to the chicken pen which gets hosed down once a week.
@@alfredopampanga9356 it certainly cost some time in my labour - it was really just regular compost comfrey and worm juice which were free I made them myself - occasionally I used seaweed or fish emulsion- it was also over a whole year - so spread out over time condensed into a video
@@Growyourowncoolclimate If you live in the Sydney region , you may experience “ winter yellowing” of leaves Also worth checking the pH as alkaline soil makes two further causes of yellowing , namely iron and magnesium deficiency. . Sometimes, if the leaves are too tatty with various insect damage , I find it worthwhile to prune it all off. The flush of new growth is very satisfying
@@katu9393 they like cool damp places so the compost is a popular spot - gloves and closed shoes help. They like under the lid and I just leave the lid upturned out in the open for a little while and the magpies like to eat them.

Magnesium deficiency can cause leaf yellowing Forgive me for saying so but you seem to throw too many eggs into the pudding Cost is afactor
