Man, if you only knew about Momo's elimination(girl in the 23 jersey) back when they were forming the group on JYP's reality tv show...& how on the very last episode, JYP surprises everyone and decides to make TWICE a 9 member group, and brings Momo back from elimination and makes her the final member of the group... JYP stated at the end of the reality show that her dance skills were the main reason she got brought back, & that all of the staff working with him at the time told him that TWICE needed her in the group... that's why the dance break at the end is such a big deal. In the music video, Momo is the last member left on the bus as everyone else gets off, & the camera slowly pans up to Momo's smiling face, & then BAM! Badass Momo-inspired dance break. So awesome. (also, there's some members of Stray Kids playing zombies in the background back before they debuted.)
No you're right...it was very similar; JYP seems to do things like that on his reality shows a lot... that's why it was so frustrating to see what happened to Lee Know & Felix, because I had seen this happen once before w/ Momo... & seeing JYP bringing them back felt almost like it was just a stunt for the cameras, for ratings maybe. Like, he knew Stray Kids was a 9-member group from the beginning, but seeing Felix so utterly devastated by being eliminated...it just seemed cruel to me

Garret Burrow twice was supposed to be a 7 member group (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyong) but JYP wanted to add momo so bad because he believes that they need momo in the team, so to make it fair he decided to make it 9, one member of his choice and one member from the people’s choice, since Tzuyu was the most popular on the peoples choice back then ( on the remaining members thats not yet chosen or lost) Tzuyu was chosen and that makes them a 9 member group.

@Kaito I love "Like Ooh Ahh" so much because they had a girlcrush part in it, the 'let me see how you gonna treat me' part. Cute mixed with a bit of girlcrush is hot af. I hope Twice will do a girlcrush concept next time, not a full girl crush is okay, at least they have a girl crush part
@Kaito Girl crush concept is like Blackpink's concept or Red Velvet "Bad Boy" concept. Girl crush usually contains lyric that empowering women.
@Kaito and in my opinion. It's really more than enough for them to do a cute concept anymore. They have to change their concept eventhough just twice or once. Girlcrush concept will create a new image for them, at least for a while. People will change their thought on them. Like "oh wow Twice is great, they're not just a pretty girls with a bit of singing and dancing skills". Basically to show their versatility. They already have a massive fanbase and their career is not a joke bcs they're TOP3 GG of 3rd gen idol. What's more? a cute concept again? that's repetitive and boring af. If they're going to do cute concept again, JYP better utilize their skills to the max

@@sebonteesen4064 not really easily. She is the most stable but she can’t hit the higher notes like Nayeon can... it’s just that Nayeon voice is less stable because JYP tends to overdo it and push her voice past its limits. If they gave Jongyeong her lines, she wouldn’t be able to hit it...

I love Twice, their concept is so innovative. Kpop for years has stuck to pretty cut and dry concepts easily distinguishable from one another. Usually ggs will go for a cute concept or a badass concept (think gfriend vs 2ne1) as the 2 most common (but not the only concepts out there).
