Why do reviewers take a family car to a race track treat it like a sports car and complain when it does not handle like one. It's a family SUV, its primary purpose is not to handle corners like a performance car.
This is not a race track car, nonetheless I left the Audis and BMWs way behind on the winding road from Haartebees to PTA on sport mode. Daily commute to work for me averages between 8.3 to 8.7L/100km which is fair based on the size of the car. The comfort and luxury is way above those of expensive car. How about opening the sunroof with voice command.
I test drove one. The quality and attention to detail is simply amazing. Its actually better than much smaller and much more pricey "SUVs" like the X1, GLA and Q3. It's even a much better offering than the Mercedes GLB even. One wonders why on earth those much smaller cars are so much more expensive. The price of the Tiguan All Space is ridiculous. Chery has a winner here. It's a no brainer.
Looks like a lovely family car. I am very happy to have a lovely review with all aspects included. I am a mom however there are moments when you need to a bit wilder and faster... So good to know how I can use it as a family car and what to look out for. Love it.
Hawu Mr Editor. The Hyundai Santa Fe is also a direct competitor 🤔 Of course this is better value for money, but you can't say the Allspace is the only competitior
Carmag - your reviews not as good as your publication - as others have said, why take a family SUV to the test track ? It seems your reviews are predominately about a car’s performance at a track or drag strip. Perhaps test the vehicle in its day to day application instead of zooming around a race track

Agree with that...it's not like you drive to a race track on a daily basis...wrong choice of location I guess😁

@@ezekielkg3576 have you done the first 5000km service yet? Apparently they say the consumption should drop slightly after that service 🤷🏾♂️

A drag race between the Chery and new gen Haval H6 would be amazing to see

Can someone explain why are you testing a family SUV on a track? I cannot imagine a single owner tracking a Chery...
If my wife drives like that fetching the grandkids from school I will trade her in for a new one.
