Well it is entirely optional in the original game. Unless you bought the laptop you wouldn't have even known about it. "Oh what happens if I fix this laptop- Why is it suddenly on? Why is it open to a shady shopping site?!"
I will say, I like the Social Link approach in this game, and it really made me like & learn more about the characters. And it gives more insight to Haru, and I feel like I understand her more than I did in P5.

I think I like this format more than the 2d drawings. Being able to see the facial reactions along with the body motions at the same time makes it much more expressive. I just don't know how exactly they'd implement it with P5's current format.
She gets plenty in Strikers, and I like her more after seeing her subplot there. And this game fleshed her out a lot too. I don't care much for her in the original game but I like her more now. 😊

Actually, I was once like Haru, whenever I touch a computer, it had issue. My brother's PC was broken a few times because of me. Now, here I am, wish to study about PC hardware, I even built my own PC with 12th gen Intel CPU, with RTX 3070 (yup, bought the component and built it with my own two hands from scratch. I love that moment and I take pride in it)
"Well, I still don't know how to use a smartphone. And upgrading to a new model is awfully stressful." Why even bother doing it then? Manual mobile is much less of a hassle and no one is forcing you to upgrade your phone as long as the old one is functional.
Her weakness is her one note personality and lack of true development or personality due to her late entry into the game. Her less than ideal placement along with not sending the player any notification that they are available also leads to the player often straight out forgetting to even pursue her social link especially since her perks are just slightly better versions of items you can make from Sojiro's social link except it's not instant. I think that might be it.
Earth The Kid Yeah this is why she’s my least favorite Phantom Thief. Both as a character and a party member. Her introduction is butchered to hell because it intertwined with Morgana’s development and feels just thrown in. She lacks the impact the others do (even Akechi). She’s not good in battle either. Like not having Healing,or defense debuff and crap like Amrita, “Karn” skills and not very good damage options. At least she’s sweet,cute and pretty. She has that going for her.... Her breast are kinda nice too.....

She's just not good for grinding.

I liked what you said about Haru besides being the best against bosses,kinda. It’s just that she should have gotten Rakunda instead of Heat Riser because single ally buffs are kinda garbage. But the opposites with Single foe debuffs. Her damage options are still mediocre and the rest of her skills are worthless.
