I went to ce europa for the catalan cup final..passionate fans, sell out and they won..the fans made us feel so welcome and one gave me a scarf that has been in his family for years. Had better time than when i went to nou camp..espanyol is also better experience than nou camp.

my mum always hammered me for saying knackered. never understood why its frowned upon other than the owd knackers yard connotations from back in the day.

Knackered was a bad word when I was growing up, apparently it comes from the knackers yard, where they used to take horses to kill them if they could no longer work. "I'm knackered" basically meaning I'm so tired I'm like a dead horse. Guessing that could be seen as offensive to people who like horses or horses themselves
