It was so nice to hear ur son say "Amen" after ur prayer. There r so many young kids that never even say a prayer. Clearly, u have guided ur children in a good direction, & despite ur past demons, they seemed to have strong connections with u & that is just AWESOME!!!🙏🙏

Your son is a very pleasant young person. It might be nice when your son is riding if he sees something that can be sold - for him to list it online. He can write the description. Also enjoyed him sharing his lesson learned - it's beautiful thing to see children share their knowledge as they learn. You learn best when you teach- he'll probably always remember that concept since he taught it to you. Good job Jess and Dad (you support, affirm and positively reinforce your son so well). Hello Jesse! My Jesse is 19 and has been doing his own laundry since he was about 8. He got his own vacuum when he was 7! He loved to vacuum! He is now training as a volunteer firefighter! I have a soft spot for Jesse's!

Paul I've been in recovery since 2006 God bless you you keep it up I have a wonderful relationship with my kids and a very wonderful relationship with my wife or I should say ex-wife but you keep doing what you're doing and everything comes to you from the Lord

Sometimes we have our struggles. I was 37 when he was born, So there's a lot of generational differences. And for two years I didn't see him during my dark days of addiction.
@@ScrapPalletMan I hear you on the age difference thing! I had my son a few months befire my 30th birthday and I was 35 when my daughter was born. I'm 62 now and have one grandson who was born not too bbn long after my 55th birthday!! In my case, it was a good thing l had them a bit later tu han alot of my classmates had theirs as I was not ready to be a good involved 24/7 Mom like kids need and have to have. I truly believe that my finest moment in life and my greatest accomplishment in my life , has come from raising my kids up tp be two very compassionate, vibrant, loving, hard-working, compassionate, smart, happy,creative, and funny young people! Kids these days seem bored, angry and ready to rage on anybody×, that worries me...alot ! I hope we can change. our world for the better soon!!
That is a wonderful list of qualities in your children. I agree, these days a lot of kids are entering adulthood angry and unwilling to put in effort.

Hey Paul! It has been a while since I said hi and all! Last time I wrote I was explaining that I was going off pain pills. Well I did it with tonnes of prayers and honestly thinking of you and your change! I admire how you and the kids are so close and how much they seem to enjoy scrapping just like you! He is absolutely telling the truth. People dont want to get involved and they look for someone else to do it, but once someone starts the process then others will assist. "Diffusion of responsibility", a lot of adults dont understand this

With the terrible prices for scrap metals and such, you have to make budget cuts and scrapper-coffee got the ax. I'm sure it will return when the prices come back up....they always do

Your son seems like a really nice young man so glad he’s helping out and you’re not a bad dad I do the same thing my son will help me when I need it and I always tell him how I appreciate everything he does for me. And I have a lot of people tell me how rude I am because I make him pay for his gas and phone but no I’m teaching him how to manage money he works and goes to high school. I have a recommendation you could bungee cord a bucket to the rail of your bed and ladder rack for smaller bits like screws brackets etc... that way you don't have to worry about them going astray and possibly getting in your tires.
Garbage man almost got it right, it's Indigenous day, let's celebrate that! Knowing now what we know and still celebrating Christopher Columbus is a slap in the face to our natives!
