Harnoor :- Most of the HBS students are not from IIT Le Harnoor: To be very honest HBS students from india are from prestigious institutes like BITS NIT AND MOST COMMONLY IIT One of the very important thing is the college reputation and they also see whether people from that college have already applied to that business schoold. IIT'ians are known by the admission officers as many people from IIT have already gone to HBS and made impact
MBA is not just academics, getting into HBS is totally different from any college application. You said you are planning to do mba two years from now, do i see you get into HBS with that NO!, do i see you get into HBS 4-5 years later YES!!. HBS is not an ordinary Bschool!!
@@SinghinUSA i would suggest don't mba for just the sake for it or your student visa is getting expired. Don't rush into it, think about its probably your last experience as a student.

Hi Harnoor you should have interviewed that guy from VIT in that round table discussion regarding how he got into HBS from a non IIT college. Because IITians entering such top schools is quite common and not so helpful for us tier 2 college students. Anyway great video as always
first see that vit guy's LinkedIn, he has done MEng from Cornell and then he has 8-9 yrs of work experience in Amazon in CA that is why it became easy for him to go to HBS .....there VIT tag won't help...so think first...

How much chances is there to get into HBS after 30 years with 2 to 3 years of experience ? And kindly make a detail analysis on HBS 2+2 and general MBA admission .
If you meant “after 30 years old”, there is a decent number of my classmates who are over 30. I didn’t go through 2+2, but for what I know, if you get in, you can choose to work for 2-4 years before you come to HBS, and the program application deadline goes with the second round of regular HBS deadline, and internship experience/leadership/social impacts tend to be very important factors.
I find it very amateurish and offensive to straight away ask someone if they’re from Computer Science. It’s not the only branch in IIT Bombay or any other university. You should be asking what’s your branch or stream or study? Not if their branch is computer science or not.

Hii harnoor ...i badly need an advice from u ..I was a neet 2023 aspirant ..I had taken dummy school and was preparing from an online subscription for neet..but I was never too passionate about being a doctor .my interest and love lied in being a wildlife biologist..not going to school has affected me a lot..I got into severe depression in November and presently talking a therapy ..Since I have taken dummy in class 11th , I have to continue with dummy in class 12th also.. My exams r starting from first week of February but I have literally no energy left for studies ..my mental health is getting worsen day-by-day ..I really wanna go to school..I talked with my parents and they said that I can go to offline coaching if sitting at home is not good for me...But I think everyone know the suffocating behaviour of coaching..... Now ..I really wanna repeat my class 11th from a good school and then indulge in co -curricular for admission in foreign universities ...for that I need a good percentage in class 12 and I know that If I remain in dummy and do a coaching in class 12 it would be a lil difficult for me... I really wanna repeat my class 11 but no one do that ..I know that I gonna waste 1 year of mine but I really don't wanna go to a coaching even though my goal is not to do neet .... 1)Right now focus on 11th and then aim for 12th exam 2) get minimum overall 60%+ I am sure you'll get more than that :) 3) don't repeat any year only because of one subject or one exam as it's (year) about to finish then why to repeat and waste time? 4) if you are sure that you want to do wildlife then start preparing, It doesn't mean that shift your focus from 11th and 12th, just start searching about cutoff,fees, colleges etc 5) you are young you have time take it easy. telling you from experience 6) relax!! Take some time for mental health meditate,talk to friends,fam, play some sport if not possible then play e-sport it's will reduce some stress. 7) work smart not hard

I think you do need to have GMAT/GRE, but the score matters less when you have, for example, a high GPA/other graduate degrees/more work experiences.
