I’m really curious if you felt a lot of pressure and responsibility when the track went viral on TikTok? I think the sounds evoke a feeling that surround things that go on in our world today, such as politics, wealth, the environment and peoples happiness with the system. Were you scared how this track made people feel, because the official release version is much more optimistic and upbeat.
In the end it was a lot simpler than this. The TikTok version was a unfinished Track. When I suddenly had to finish the track I didn't want to have the same drop 2 times. I thought it was "boring". So I had the melody play over the drop. I liked how it changed the vibe and was another suprise.
And the pressure was insane. Never felt something similar before.

Little movie that played in my head: this kid would grow up to become one of the most accomplished doctors in the world. With his hair completely white with age he is still slaving away in his research for a cure for cancer. He asks his son to fetch him the last thing he needs to complete the formula to which his son gladly obliges. But when he returns and pulls into the long driveway of his fathers home he hears a loud roaring growing in the distance. He looks to the source of the sound as he gets out of his vehicle to see a fighter jet loose it’s payload on the house. The government had caught wind of his accomplishments. (I’m not a writer so please don’t flame me too hard)
